Re: Time Travel. Too many authors assume the same thing bout Time Travel: That it would be instantaneous. And, if you are using a worn hole or other teleportational time travel methods then, yes, Time taken to travel is moot and you need to look out where in space you will end up. BUT. If we look at a more logical time machine, say the first one, authored by Mr. Wells, you see a machine that actually >travels through time.< (As opposed to teleporting through it.) Mr. Well's machine, and I will call it that because I can not remember the inventors name in the book, see's time as a dimension through which travel is therefor possible. It can accelerate and decelerate forward and backward through time and the person or persons riding in it see things happen as the wiz past at speeds other than one second equals one second. And, because it is traveling instead of teleporting, it would still be effected by gravity. It will therefor stay put. I'm not a scientist but it seems like that is logical. That may be what Ms Violet was asking about. How many positive or negative seconds per second of ride time are you passing through in Mr Well's machine.
Of course Dr Tyson will never read a word of this so... Who really cares yes?

I have an old yet still working surgeon as an occasional fishing buddy. He’s been doing it for so long I think he probably does have a 4 dimensional view of a persons internal organs.

I think different dimensions overlap at some point and should have manifested any existing beings on different dimensions by this time. The other dimensions are just an easement of our dimension. September 21, 2023.

Hi, what's the diff between a virtual particle heading into a black hole, but it's taking an infinite amount of time to get to the event horizon ( infinite equals the life of the universe?), but gets converted to hawking radiation, and the tired light phenomenon?

I imagine you could have dimensions so big that we can't detect our movement through them. For example: the Multiverse???

When calculating where neptune ought have been to influence neptunes orbit, wouldnt you get a handful of correct locations? Wouldnt there essentially be a specific spacial location for each possible mass of the planet, which would essentially give a line through space where the planet could have been?

Eg if it was heavier but further away, it would have the same gravitational pull?
