Why can’t life be the same? Enjoyed these songs as a teenager. Being an adult is the stupidest thing I’ve done. Why were we in such a hurry to grow up? Life was simple, summer nights were long and we had the world by it’s tail. How I long to return to this. Life sucks and the world is in shambles. What would you do differently if you knew where your life was going to end up? If only we could rewind. Our kids will never know the world we grew up in and we can’t even begin to explain it to them. Their reality is so different than ours. We didn’t have a clue how good we had it.

Listening to these songs made me cry because I miss those days so badly. It was such a different world. Glad I was able to experience it.

Those times were so awesome. The girls were smokin hot, the guys, werent bad either. (Said as a straight guy)
People all had money. We worked so we could buy toys not so we could survive.
The weekends people went to the lake and went water skiing, or went to the mountains to go downhill skiing.
Cruising on Friday and Saturday nights still happened in most towns.
Keggers were the shit!
The music was phenomenal, concerts were a blast. The cars were all hot rods,
Oh, and did i mention that the girls were all HOT! :)
