what about Blue team certification
ОтветитьThe only channel i follow religiously, This guy helped me a lot through his videos , i made a roadmap and started my cyber security learning journey.
By the way u forgot Blue team certification.
So I can do CompTIA Sec+ without necessarily having Network+ ?
ОтветитьCan you do a GITHUB repo list for cyber security? one for blue team and another for red team?
Ответитьhello may i know it's free or not?
ОтветитьWould you say that this list of recommendations applies well to getting into cybersecurity in Australia ? I've been trying to work out which certs are the most in demand and valuable in Australia and I see a lot of people saying things like CompTIA are less valuable in Australia as opposed to the US for example.
ОтветитьWhich of those certifications do you have?
ОтветитьWould you even rate the Google cyber cert?
ОтветитьYour videos have really given me a good insight into the Cybersecurity world many thanks. I am 57 is that too old to get into Cybersecurity and if not which areas of Cybersecurity would be easiest to get into taking to account the training and experience needed.
ОтветитьBro, could you please introduce and explain most using top security tools, learning to get the Cybersecurity Analyst Job to appreciate it.
ОтветитьThanks A Lot, Quick question though do I have to do those Ethical Hacking Certifications like OSCP, eJPT, ECCPT, etc if my main goal is to be a Cyber Analyst?
ОтветитьNo Blue Team Level 1?
ОтветитьArabic accent.... Syrian or Lebanese ?
ОтветитьI'd agree with everything except for the SANs certs. They are useless as very few can afford them, especially anyone who is trying to get into the industry. I do believe they are amazing, as are Lamborghini's.........but I'm never going to drive one.
ОтветитьWhats your thoughts on the Blue Team 1 certifications
ОтветитьHello, last SANZ update was in 2013. And they are pricy
ОтветитьHey brother hope you are doing very well. Watching every video you Upload. I have been trying to find a cyber security job for the past couple of months but so far hasn't find any. However I just found this job which is System Engineer so I just took the job but I still want to get to cyber security. Even though System engineering is not 100% related to cyber security but I was wondering if it will still be a good experience for my resume if I am looking for a cyber security job? Please let me know. Thank you brother.
ОтветитьThank you for this thorough breakdown!
Could you please reccomend a good beginner Digital Forensic Certificate thats easy on the wallet?
Thanks again!
thank you so much for sharing this.. you've saved me so much time i'm trying to switch to cyber security from sofware engineering and felt cert were the best way to go
ОтветитьWhat do you think about coursera lite? I cannot afford 50$ for google cybersec, but i can afford coursera lite, and with that i can only watch videos of google cybersec, so my question is, are videos of that course enough?
ОтветитьPls is it possible to be a network engineer at the same time network security engineer?
ОтветитьJust my take on Security +, I am pretty new to cyber security, have been working in the field for one year now. I studied around 3 months for sec+ and did some labs, vídeo course and at the end the exam questions. I must say it kicked my butt, I passed it with few points above the minimum required score. For someone like you with over 20 years of experience in the field it is probably not very valuable cert but for me it was an awesome journey and now I am wraping up my prep for the CySa+ as a next step
ОтветитьThat was informative. I started with google certification. Actually you saved my money but i heatd CISM is good for managers? Anyway Can you pls help me the path to study GRC certifications???
ОтветитьGood information, I love how you give it to me straight, especially about the cissp but truly I see every job asking for it to even get an interview, could be totally wrong, but if someone is only concentrating on grc, how can the oscp be of any use? Even for roles such at information security officer I can't see how this would be any use
ОтветитьYou downplayed CISSP so much lol. It's a very hard exam. Have you done it recently? It's not just cram and dump and the people who did it in 2 weeks are super rare. People who work in Cybersecurity do care about it. You contradict yourself in your video. You said you have no idea why a security analyst would need a CISSP but in the same portion you said the CISSP is very broad and covers a bunch of topics. Those topics include what a security analyst does. Also I would like to mention I have spoken with a few hiring managers who said they want CISSP for most of their security roles specifically because it shows them they are hiring someone who has a wide array of knowledge in security as whole. Then they look at the specific experience they have in the job role they are hiring for. " a little harder then Sec+ " " Not that hard " " in the real world no one cares ". You are a fool. Get the cert yourself then talk shit.
ОтветитьMy goal is to be a good DevSecOps / Cloud security Engineer. Can you suggest me which certification should I work?
ОтветитьYour hairdo sucks
ОтветитьThank you because I was about to start aligning myseld towards the ISC² path of certs after taking the free CC program. Boy what a mistake that would've been 😅
This was an awesome discussion
you literally copy and pasted this content from another creator. sad.
ОтветитьSo basically cyberops professional and CCNP security is worthless is cybersecurity space ?
ОтветитьMy company and my work stuff got hacked in Las Vegas this week. I m really wanting to be a cyber security expert!
ОтветитьWhat about the Cisco CyberOps ?
Ответитьbro you out to be silly if you think CISSP is a memorizing game.
Ответитьsir please help, Sir iam a BCA Cybersecurity final year student, last two years of my collage i learned nothing even the basics ,my cgpa is very low ,what should i do now, should i focus on certificates from learning basics to up,or should i focus on collage getting some marks
i have seen your videos and understand the importance of skills and the certificates which help us to achieve the skills, but iam asking this question because here while hiring everyone is asking about degree and cgpa also,in my collage itself 80%marks is required for attending interviews
Great information. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьSo you ranked PenTest+ as F but didn't really defend the position. As someone with PenTest+ I found it balanced the CySA+ well. Also sure GIAC is highly ranked but really S tier with that price? Talking B tier for practicality alone.
ОтветитьIm currently doing certificate IV in cyber security at TAFE Qld here in Australia. Looking to add some more certificates onto my belt after ive qualified, so videos like this i greatly appreciate. Experience concerns me a little as its hard to get entry level positions without it. Worked in hospitality most of my career so anything to build skill set is highly valuable to me. Kind regards, and thank you for your content.
ОтветитьI have GIAC and CISSP certifications. Both were difficult in very different ways. GIAC was technical and CISSP was about thinking as a manager.
ОтветитьDoes he have an list for free courses to do? I can't pay for them rn, would like to find a job on the to get the money to and then buy the REAL courses
ОтветитьHave you heard about Cisco's Ethical Hacker Course? It's on Cisco SkillsForAll.
I'd love to hear your take on it.
Thanks.
what happened to the discord server? did i get kicked randomly?
ОтветитьSir i need ur advice.. I'm going to buy macbook.will it meet all the needs of learning cyber security from foundation. I mean will it run all softwares of cyber security plz give me a advice to get out of this confusion
ОтветитьThere is this thing called "LUFS" which is a industry standard to record videos or music. Please use it so your video doesn't sound like Amplified out the wazuh for no reason. i can't continue watching it. it's hurting my ears!
ОтветитьVery informative … thanks for sharing
ОтветитьThank you very much this is the best info well done brother
ОтветитьI got hired with 0, and to be COMPLETELY honest, I can't see why you'd even need one. I do have a computer science background, and I all I do is read OWASP, and implement their security recommendations in vulnerability management.
Ответить@Unixguy thank you so much for going straight to the point, cutting out all the BS and creating value.
Please give me an honest advice in OCEG' GRCP certificate.
I have years of compliance experience and want to bolster my resume by adding the GRCP certification. What are your thoughts?
