Wow amazing surprise, again. My comment on Patreon was included in the video... You are the best Jess! ✨💕
ОтветитьLoved this video! The painting came out so good! Loved the splashes at the end💚💚💚
ОтветитьI usually use watercolour for painting , and some of these were really helpful! I always had a problem with the pencil smudge and I will surely try your tip....
ОтветитьJess please make one video on how you sketch humans free hand ✨
ОтветитьWhen I pass my art class in school I will dedicate it to you.
ОтветитьThank you, I tried to use gouache for the first time which I assume is similar to watercolor and used some random paper I found at home. I understand that the picture sucks because I have no experience in this medium but I was so frustrated with the paper as well :D it seems I really need a special paper for this :D hopefully it will at least reduce the stress it causes :DDDD
ОтветитьAnother fabulous video!
ОтветитьYou can also use fiber castle noir 2022 it black pencils and don’t smudge
ОтветитьYou are an amazing artist 🎨.
Love you jess
Just like always inspiring and informative..❤… never stop loving 😍
ОтветитьHello lovely I hope your day is going amazing. Love these watercolor tips! Loved your portrait of the girl with the pink hair, I would have chosen to draw her too. I agree that Paper is key to some great watercolor paintings, how the water and colors flow on different types of paper is important. Stay amazing! Keep Being you🖌🎨😻
Ответить😍
ОтветитьVery well done! Paper makes a huge difference! … I love the painting too. I haven’t painted with watercolor since school, but am getting ready to bring it back to my small works. Thanks for all that you share - it’s so inspiring. 😊
Ответить🙂 ≋p≋r≋o≋m≋o≋s≋m
ОтветитьThis has nothing to do with the video. I’m just praying you came through the hurricane ok.
ОтветитьGreat video. Learning watercolor techniques currently.
ОтветитьI think I will also add a 2 H pencil to my watercolor box
ОтветитьJess have you tried the Papermate colored Clear Point mechanical pencils for sketching before watercolor? They come in a pack of 6 colors and are available at Staples and most larger office supply stores.
They are erasable and the lead and erasers are refillable.
I was wondering if you’ve ever been to art uni and how you started your career. I’ve wanted to become an artist for as far as I can remember but I’ve been discouraged so many times by people that I stopped drawing… but you looking so happy with your decision has encouraged me to pick up drawing and painting again:)
ОтветитьGreat tips Jess Karp. Paper is so important for watercolor, isn’t it? Also, I love the look of watercolor over pencil, even allowing the pencil to show through to the final piece. Your art is terrific, and your videos are very well produced. Keep up the good work and happy painting! :)
ОтветитьAmazing video as always dear friend. Good job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьAre you well?
ОтветитьThank you dear <3
ОтветитьHi Jess, You have great skill with the details of all of your art work. I love it and I am trying very hard to do better with my drawings. Thank You

Ответитьwonderful. Paper is sooo importrant.
ОтветитьI don't understand! I bought a cotton watercolor sketchbook and yet the pages still get all warped????
ОтветитьHi ! My name is D ! While stronggling with my darkness I find your video ☺️🖍️🖌️🌿🎒 thanks Jess !
ОтветитьYour very talented Jess
Ответитьthanks for these! <3
ОтветитьJess ..I notice you didn't tape the paper down. Is that not always necessary? I always seem to rip my painting whilst removing the masking tape. Thank you.
ОтветитьWow thanks for your tips! Anyway, can u produce videos about art movements?
ОтветитьThank you !
ОтветитьI like your art style
ОтветитьI am so happy that I found you and your channel.
ОтветитьThis is so helpful!!!! Thank you so much
ОтветитьJess, thanks again for another great video. I am a writer, photographer, and a beginner to painting acrylic abstracts. I didn't go to art school, but I do take painting classes here and there. My greatest fear in art is Drawing and Sketching. In that area, my work is extremely elementary. Zero experience. Do you have any suggestions for this beginner? THANK YOU, JESS.
Ответить💜
ОтветитьHi Jess! I really love your channel, you are an incredible artist! I have the Inktense blocks from derwent and i wonder what's the difference between them, watercolor and gouache. Thanks!
ОтветитьMoore...❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьPlease show us a kit for urban sketchig
ОтветитьThank you! Please more watercolor instruction...Love it!
ОтветитьExcellent techniques 😊
ОтветитьOh Jess- I love your chanel!! Learning so so much. Did you create the palette you used in this? If so, is there a particular brand? Those colors in that palette are awesome!
ОтветитьThe advice about paper might be the single most significant lesson for beginners! The paper is the support, but also the source of white for the painting, and the paper sizing has a huge influence on the appearance of colors. No other type of paint has such dependence on, and integration with the support. Somewhere, there's an artist watching this video right now whose whole understanding of the medium will take a major leap forward!
