Its just that antlers usually dont go to hell or whatever this is
ОтветитьI love this place. I love that there's a place I can send necromancers to, and not just merely kill their physical forms.
ОтветитьMan. this writing is so beautiful, it's more fun to just listen to instead of watching the visuals
ОтветитьI would burn this place to the ground if I could. I have ptsd from that bloody thunder I can hear it in my sleep I have not been able to sleep normaly since
Ответить41 minutes in, those bones can trip on bricks. bwahahah
Ответить💕
ОтветитьI just found large antlers in a chest while exploring the soul cairn. So there are at least two pairs of antlers in there.
ОтветитьIs it me or are fantasy medieval universes naturally more interesting than futuristic sci-fi universes?
ОтветитьI think that the Master's victims may have placed, and perhaps even made, the spell tomes, to allow themselves a potential respite from their eternal servitude, for should and caster perform the incantation, one of the victims is summoned, freed from their prison for a laughably short time, relative to eternity
ОтветитьWhat if the word wall had a way to send "people" to the soul cairn, and someone/ a dragon spoke it and got sent there along with the wall and chest. Possibly explaining how a dragon skeleton also got there.
ОтветитьIdk if I missed it in the video, but if you’re level 45 or higher you can take keeper weapons
ОтветитьNever knew there was so much in the soul cairn I always thought it was only 3 things: vast, empty, and hopeless.
ОтветитьThe grave withe the skull and antlers may be a reference to the knights of Nee, nice little Easter egg
ОтветитьI have a theory about both the dragon priest and the spell tomes. I think that after the dragon cult fell this priest wanted more power and sout out the unique power of the ideal masters. After pleadging loyalty he wrote the 3 summoning books and lived the rest of his existence wondering the realm
Ответить"There is also no respite. There is no place to rest and heal. There is no map markers. There is no map. The landscape is obscure and confusing, making it near impossible to navigate."
Morrowind players: "Hold my Keening and Sunder N'wah."
Keep it up man
ОтветитьHope you see this. At the beginning of the video when you were talking about the skull with antlers, you said that you couldn’t find any evidence of daedra leaving behind physical remains and it went over my head several times, but after you mentioned daedric hearts for the 150th time, I realized that the heart is a physical remnant of a dead daedra.
Ps I want to get my hands on an Aedra heart.
☠️ “The rough end of the pineapple” 😂
ОтветитьNot sure if the point of this is just taking the soul cairn as it is or if you just didn't catch the Easter eggs but the first dragon who swallowed the person whole and the sword through its mouth was a dragon heart (the movie) Easter egg, and while I don't know much about the series the three orcs and the dragon bones MIGHT be a lord of the rings refrence/Easter egg
ОтветитьSomething I noticed about the skeleton wearing the ancient nordic helm with the note next to it (The Lost Nord on your timestamps).. the skeleton seems to have two left feet. I mean, likely an oversight of some sort from the dev who placed it.. but still. You zoomed in and did a pan of its feet (or soles.. eh? EH?), and it bothered me that something looked off.
ОтветитьFell asleep to a different video and waking up to jioh talking was so jarring
ОтветитьI assumed the Word Wall ended up in the Soul Cairn because there was once a dragon soul inside. Maybe a non-dragonborn necromancer wanted that dragon soul and tried to transfer it from the Wall to a soul gem. Then, once the soul was used for enchanting, the remains of the Wall were sent to the Soul Cairn just like the remains of any other soul trapped entity.
Ответитьthis was an amazing series, glad to see another true son of skyrim wandering these parts
ОтветитьAwesome video.
ОтветитьRandom thought but the standing stones are connected to the soul cairn (hint Aetheriam)
ОтветитьStill enjoy rewatching this a few years later 😊💙🐪
ОтветитьI believe I have explored it fully the Soul Cairn? That is why I am watching your video to see if I'm full of it or not or if I actually have found everything LOL
Ответить“No normal horse skull, nay.” Nice.
ОтветитьRegarding the dragon corpse, I've thought about it for a long time. What it seems to me is that this is an effect of the Cairn. Hear me out.
In the Shivering Isles, we learn that the laws of reality on Nirn don't necessarily apply in Daedric Planes. The Ideal Masters are masters of soul energy, and we see many travelers in the Cairn who have died and their souls are trapped in the Cairn. But dragon souls are far more potent, ergo more sought after than a human/Mer soul. When the warriors killed the dragon, I believe the soul of the dragon became trapped in the Cairn, and then its energy was absorbed by one or more of the Ideal Masters, essentially draining the entirety of the soul, not unlike how the Dragonborn does when (s)he kills a dragon. Just my own thoughts though. I'm curious to see if anyone agrees, or if anyone sees any flaws in that!
I love these. I find myself watching them over and over.
ОтветитьHey what's the soundtrack name for the soul cairn? "Soul music!"
ОтветитьFinally! A video that's audible without plugging some 1000 watts speakers to the laptop! Fantastic!
ОтветитьVideo rating: 7.8. Good. Too much purple.
ОтветитьIf I had a broom and nothing else to do, I'd probably sweep too, especially if I was stuck there for eternity.
ОтветитьDIFFERENT architecture style, but what if the buildings in the soul cairn are from the winterhold great collapse?
ОтветитьThe calm collection of curating of the curiosities by Camelworks, conjures my curiosity of exploring the Cairn.
ОтветитьHonestly the only thing keeping me from exploring the soulcairn more thoroughly is the lack of a map. Same thing with the forgotten vale
ОтветитьHey when he said he woke up that other prisoner in elder scrolls three we were the prisoner he said he had woken up because he said he said hey wake up you were just dreaming he said that he said those words right now to.
ОтветитьMaybe the sword had been enchanted with soul trap
ОтветитьNot sure if anybody pointed this out, but I believe the dragon with the sword through its mouth, with the gauntlets, is a reference to movie dragon heart. There is a scene where the main character gets in a situation with a dragon, the dragon "tries" to eat him, but the MC stops the dragon by keeping his sword pointed up into the dragons mouth, so if the dragon bites down, the dragon dies with him. While he is in the dragons mouth and they are conversing, he pulls out and tosses a skeletal hand that belonged to another knight that tried to kill the dragon, the hand has some remains of what look like metal on its hand from the gauntlets that the dead knight would've been wearing. So i believe the sword and gauntlets are a direct reference to that scene in the movie! you can look up Dragonheart The dragons maw scene to see what I'm talking about!
ОтветитьCamel, if you ever decide to write a book of poetry I would consider buying
ОтветитьAs usual fantastic journey, will go back as missed most of it,thanks
ОтветитьThe soul cairn is fun for about 5 minutes, then it's super annoying and you just want to get the hell out. The constant lightning strikes become irritating, there's really not anything interesting to do, unless you decide to gather all of jiubs notes, which is an insanely boring slog of a fetch quest thats not even worth it
ОтветитьYou are a member of the Bard's College, aren't you? The tour of the Soul Carn, talking about great stories that lay within the very bones that crossed your path and the rhythmic descriptions show a great command of poetry and language. Fabulous video.
As for the word wall, I think that was where Durnehviir was perched when he made his bargain with the Ideal Master. They took him and everything around him to the Soul Cairn.
