ОтветитьFinally, Driving stick shift car in the heavy traffic stain your feet and leg especially left one.
ОтветитьI don’t know hot to drive automatic anymore 🤣
ОтветитьThis looks like such a pain in the ass.
ОтветитьIs this European thing to use hand brake more than leg brake ?
ОтветитьI Like Seats there Nice Cars
ОтветитьBumper Traffic is annoying with a Manual Car.
ОтветитьIf you're reading this, you will pass your driving test. I have faith in you!
ОтветитьGood point on leaving the heel on the floor. Kept telling my wife this point!
ОтветитьCheers for the video, my drivers teacher never told me about using the hand brake on hills he always taught me to find the biting point and just go which was hard to tell if it was on the biting point or not gonna try it out tomorrow!
ОтветитьMy instructor makes me always climb the hill using brakes and clutch only. Only used handbrakes for parking and accelerator for gear shift and speeding
ОтветитьAll that labour just to drive😢 thank god for today's cars😂😂😂 i feel for the previous generations
Ответитьwoah !! in the Philippines some cars WE DON'T HAVE ECU ENGINE OR HAND BREAK😂 JUST GAS AND FOOT BRAKE AND CLUTCH CONTROL THOSE DRIVERS ARE REALLY SKILLED IN TRAFFIC ON A HILL 😂
Ответитьit would be better if you had kept camera from driver's view.............
ОтветитьAs soon as he said "Ello Lads" I knew this was going to be a good video. Not even being sarcastic. I completely agree with the heel tip.
Ответитьim sorry but i will never get that close i always leave plenty of room
ОтветитьI am a learner and I have learnt a lot from you. Thank you.
ОтветитьPositioning of your two feet is very important from what im seeing left foot just in line with the clutch and right foot in line with the brakes
ОтветитьWatching the foot movements while on traffick was incredibly helpful! Cheers from Honduras 💙🤍
ОтветитьWhat Seat is he driving in this video? I like how simple the interior is.
ОтветитьThanks for the help
ОтветитьFunny thing too this is hollywell hill in Saint Albans it’s the tricky hill glad this is the video
Ответитьty for this video just got my first manual and its a 370z, super deep clutch and more sensitive than any racing arcade games clutch or my 03 lexus LOL!!!!
ОтветитьWait so after you get the biting point, do you then release your foot the clutch completely so you can push down on the accelerator and not ride the clutch and accelerator at the same time. Forgive my question if it comes across silly or naive?
ОтветитьTitle says How To Not Burn Your Clutch proceeds to hold clutch in gear 1 while in traffic instead of putting it in neutral 😅
ОтветитьCome to Nagaland 😅
ОтветитьI just found your video because I also do the "weird wiggly foot thing" when engaging and disengaging the clutch sequentially, and it drives me nuts, it seems to be an issue of having large feet, and when you release the clutch, your heel settles in further forward, so the clutch slides into the arch of your foot. I've been trying to figure out if I just have bad technique, or if there's any kind of modification to alleviate the issue, but no luck so far.
ОтветитьYou are driving way too close to the cars in front.
ОтветитьNah. If you are in a start-stop traffic on a not too steep hill it’s totally ridiculous to use handbrake every time if you are moving every few seconds. Just use clutch control with minium gas applied. The wear is not too excessive if you don’t rev a lot. My dad use this technique for 50 years and he never had to replace a clutch on his cars.
Practice clutch control / steady gentle gas press and you won’t even need to press the foot brake to keep the car still. Plus you’ll get to know the bite point much more accurately.
If it’s a steeper hill and the stop is longer, then use handbrake.
What caused the stall in the video??
ОтветитьYeah like even when it’s not a hill and it’s just a slight gradient I have rolled back slightly but that’s just because I weren’t quick enough finding the bite as it’s a new car with a much higher clutch to what I am used to! Haha
Ответитьcan't imagine having to change gears with my left hand xD
ОтветитьVry interesting
ОтветитьMany people say brake before clutch .
ОтветитьBro don't need any time when you stop car use hand brake. Use only when you parking the car 👍👍👍
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьThank u very much
ОтветитьGood teacher
Ответитьif you call this traffic and hills, come to india LMAO
ОтветитьGreat driving tips. Idid my Drivers Licence with a manual car 24 years ago.But I prefer to drive automatic transmission car you don't have to shift gears pulls away fast & smooth. Many people prefer automatic it is easy to drive.
ОтветитьRight hand drive. Just like here where I'm living. In age of AT this video is a treasure.
ОтветитьHolywell Hill St Albans 😁
ОтветитьJust to be sure
In traffic is it better to stop with the handbrake or the foot break ?
For me the handbrake is like a parking break
It’s weird to see that you stop in the trafic with the handbrake 🤔
Using handbrakes a lot
Ответить
