What kind of hybrid van is this?
ОтветитьWhen the side door is closed, you could make a triangle table to sit on the two sets of towel racks.
With side, (or rear), barn doors, you can put a rod between the outside top corners when the doors are open and hang a shower curtain from it.
A mat to stand on, and you have a shower stall. I use a tarp wide enough to keep the insides of the doors dry.
How long is the cab from the seats on this particular van?
ОтветитьI love this van!! We tried to build our van as practical as possible and this is as practical as you can get!! You can tell how much time you spent designing it!!
ОтветитьI love all the woodwork and everything
ОтветитьIs this the 155" wheelbase model? Also. how short would one need to be to run their bed sideways in your Express Van?
ОтветитьLove the van! Good job on your build out. Check out our channel if you want to lift it and improve ride quality. 👊🏻
ОтветитьGreat look looks very comfy the only change I would make his lose that security gate and put in some swivel seats and double the size of your living room there
ОтветитьDid you use 1/4" inch birch plywood for your walls? Did you insulate? Did you fasten it to the ribs or did you have cross members you screwed it to?
ОтветитьNice video...Nice van...Thanks for posting this Ross. I subbed. :))
ОтветитьBad Buddy heater!
Ranger
Still in the van ?
ОтветитьGreat looking build!!
ОтветитьTHANKS SO MUCH! I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to store my bike inside without it taking up a ton of room!
ОтветитьBeautiful conversion. I like the model of vehicle that you chose also.
ОтветитьWith so many little storage spaces in my van things can get a little bit lost so every 3 months I go through the whole van, de-clutter and re-arrange.
In summer the Winter clothing goes in the less accessible cupboards and vice versa in the colder months/places.
I remember this vid of yours Ross when I do it each time 😊
Many thanks - Clare
Hey Ross, I just subscribed to your channel today (12/4/18) can you please let me know how you set up your electrical system.
ОтветитьYour van has great Tech Smarts and good instrumentation. Very nice build, and I admire your knowledge about electrical instrumentation with fuse box, power, etc. Loved your second door for control panels, switches, fuses – very clever!
1. Why did you buy Maxx Air ceiling fan over Fantastic Fan? How has it held up?
2. You may want to cover the electronics at end of bed – the inverter and fuse box. Currently open to dust, moisture, accidental damage, UV light, theft. How about a wood frame on all sides, and a decorative metal panel hinged door. Back of metal panel, you can cut Teflon fiber pad to fit. This is the material they use in furnace filters, so find a piece of it and cut to size. Will give you air circulation and protect.
Cut a slot for the bike holder.
3. The paper file boxes under your bed are not good for clothes. Paper absorbs moisture and so do clothes. They will smell musty and gather mold very quickly. Please use plastic or fabric bins from IKEA, and some Damp Rid packets from Walmart inside the bins. Huge problem in RVs because it is so airy and open unlike a heated house with wood drawers which keep moisture away from clothes.
4. I need to upgrade my house fuses which are crammed in a tiny hole in floor next to house batteries (factory install). I loved your clear fuse box which is so accessible. Is this hard to swap out? I would love it if you could share how you did the fuses.
Thanks for inspiring me with your wonderful ideas, and very functional and aesthetic van build!
A lot what I had in mind for me because I'm tall and also want a closet for my suits. Most builds are for shorter people so, thanks.
ОтветитьSweet set-up. How frequently do you clean like this? And, I was a little surprised that you didn't have a mat outside to wipe your feet when you were putting everything back inside.
ОтветитьLol an iMac. Build a small hackintosh and mount a monitor without the stand flush to the wall.
ОтветитьI plan on putting a windows 10 gaming pc in mine
ОтветитьI appreciate you. Keep 'em coming!
ОтветитьVery nice simple build. Thanks for sharing.
Ответитьthis is not 'one of the beautiful' van i've seen.. IT IS the best and most beautiful i've ever see !
ОтветитьWhere do u use washroom?
ОтветитьWhat do you do for cooking?
ОтветитьThanks for vid!)
ОтветитьLiking the music! Thought you were going to be dressed like Clint Eastwood (The good the bad and the ugly)getting out of your van for a second.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you remove the divider wall? It certainly would be nice to be able to recline the seat and pass through easily. Also you could install swivel base seats and turn them around for when parked.
ОтветитьNow THAT is a beautiful an build!!!! 😍
Ответитьnice work there and thank for helping others
ОтветитьWhere do you stay mostly.. nat'l parks, BLM land..?
Ответитьlove, love the music.
ОтветитьI hope you remembered to pick up your camera at the end of the video, lol...
ОтветитьNice build 👍🏾💯
ОтветитьHi, I just discovered your channel. I'm considering the same extended work cargo van as you have. I have read discussions of some who claim a reason for not buying it is because the turning radius is too wide and that it is not good for off-roading. I like the extra space (over the standard length) and the extra towing capacity (10,000 vs 7,500).
do you have any regrets with this van?
Hey buddy!
ОтветитьThanks, Rob, this is most inspiring. I appreciate your sharing with us.
ОтветитьVery nice! I have a 79 Westy Campmobile and am adding an auxiliary battery, solar panel, and fuseblock along with 12v plugs and possibly a power inverter. Do you have any videos on exactly how you hooked up everything?
Your install is so clean! I would be tempted to put a cover over your fuseblock, but since the bike is tightened down, maybe not a huge deal.
Do you live in the Van full time alone? I noticed you using the plurals WE , OUR , US etc. Also How do you get any air when sleeping without windows?
ОтветитьAwesome van, nicely done! Can you tell me, what is the music used in the video? Thx.
ОтветитьI also live in the Phoenix area. I would appreciate it if you would be able to help me find a Van to convert into an off the grid home.
ОтветитьHey you forgot the camera!
ОтветитьNice! A hot guy that likes his place neat and tide.
Ответитьa man nice vid, very well done, tanx.
Ответитьdo you have any insulation in the floors and do you have videos of the build? I love it, so clean and neat.
ОтветитьNew sub... Question... What kind of meter was that? I like it. 😀
ОтветитьNice Job!
