Hey Ashlynne!! I definitely hear you in the maternity pant struggle! Wanted to share how I got some on a budget. I got 2 pairs of slacks from target and rotated them through the week. Then as far as leggings I got 2 pairs of leggings from girlfriend collective. They lasted 2 pregnancies and are the best I’ve tried!! Hope that helps!

I am 38 weeks and 4 days and even my oversized sweathers that i bought are now to small😅

Maturnity pants are hard to find. Sadly I discovered the stores around me stop selling maturnity clothes. 😥 I had to buy a lot my clothes online or at Walmart, specially the pants because all my old pants did not fit.

Maternity pants are 100% worth buying brand new because you will “wear them to death” which is why you have a hard time finding second hand versions.

Love the outfits! For me I ended up just investing in some good but not crazy pricy maternity pieces from H&M and Old Navy online cause I couldn’t find much thrifting or even in store. Some things also really carried into postpartum like baggy shirts and sweaters, nursing bras and much more 🥰 I love the H&M kind of relaxed nursing bras for bedtime they kind of remind me a sports bra and then for actual nursing bra/good support for end of pregnancy and postpartum I went with Knix! Even the Knix underwear was a great find cause they were so comfy! And great material 💕

Maternity clothes are easier to find on market place rather than thrift stores..

Lululemon align leggings, ultra high rise fit me all through my pregnancy and after! They are magic leggings haha

When I was pregnant I found that Amazon was my best bet for maternity pants and shorts! I feel your pain with finding them in stores :( I was able to thrift some originally from old navy I did really like those!

You answered your own question - maternity pants don’t make it to thrift stores because they get completely worn out. If you have a great pair of jeans or khakis or leggings they get worn on tight rotation in pregnancy and post partum and afterwards they’re stretched out and done.

For me after birth helped H&M spagetti stripes tops. Still after 5 month. I usually usem them a lot originally but for nursing ect was the best best best thing ever. :)

It’s hard to find maternity pants secondhand because they always are such bad quality that by the end of the pregnancy they just have to go in the trash 😢 at least that’s been the case with all 4 of my pregnancies, even when I bought nice expensive maternity pants. I always just have to bite the bullet though because there is literally no way I can fit in any regular clothes 😂 I’m glad you found some cute stuff! Cute clothes help SO much (to me at least) for feeling better and cute during pregnancy!

Eta: definitely worth it to invest in maternity leggings! Even if your regular ones fit, I’m always worried about stretching them out and then not getting them back after. Plus, maternity leggings are literally just way way more comfortable. I didn’t get them my first 2 pregnancies and then when I finally got some, I was mad I didn’t do it earlier 😂

You found some great pieces that fit your style vibe and look cute and comfy! It is so hard to find clothes that make you feel good when pregnant. I am currently 24 weeks with my second and am struggling, especially with winter clothes. And I can attest to the big tshirts and bike shorts! I wore that so much my 3rd trimester last time. :)

By the end of my pregnancies I had maybe 2 or 3 shirts I fit into. One of them was a sweatshirt that was my husband’s. I kept it and wore it from time to time until my kids became old enough and big enough to wear too. It’s a house sweatshirt that has ended up on everyone at some point. It’s kind of cool to see my kids wear a sweatshirt I wore carrying them. Maybe your flannel could be a family shirt.

The way you described the color that you like is Me trying to explain to people that I just like wearing Black. Hahaha. 😊😄🖤

Turn your leggings around so the lulu symbol or whatever brand you have is in the front! Typically the back side is a couple inches longer and it really helps fit the bump. I was able to do it my entire pregnancy and didn’t need maternity leggings!! Life hack lol

I rented a lot of my maternity clothes. I was at my biggest in the summer and early fall, so I didn't need winter pieces.

Great video! I wish we had any good thrift stores nearby.
My pregnancy uniform (week 32 atm) has been tights and knit dresses and one pair of pack well fitting (more expensive) maternity pants, oversized blouses and either a sweater or a blazer (work). And at home I wear pregnancy workout pants and an oversized flannel or sweater. So I'm with ya :D I also have done the skirt and cropped sweater look, love it and looks so chic! I also throw on the knit dress (have one fine ribbed one so quite thin) different cropped sweaters to change things up :)
I couldn't find good pregnancy tights though. I have one regular pair that is a size too big that still fits and I have a customer made compression one that is really nice if I have to sit in the office for longer times.

I really like the pieces you purchased. Classic & neutral. They will take you a long ways during and after pregnancy. 😊
