I love that jimmy Kimmel watched a parody of a talk show as a young person. It was meant to be.

Fernwood was my comedy education back then (1977-78).

jimmy cries for everyone but didnt cry for fred when he had been on his show so many times in the last year. maybe its because he could film at home and try it as many times as he wanted? but it really bothered me.

Fred Willard was a genius.

Fred always reminded me a bit of Eugene Levy. They are both so talented and funny, yet so many don’t really see the extent of it.

Fred Willard is one of my favorite actors and I always enjoyed his comedic sketches he will be deeply missed

I bet doing the work on this show was really good for him in the last few years. It’s really nice to know he was working and being recognized for that work until the end of his life.

How wonderful they had him on the show! I just discovered Fred Willard in these skits here on Jimmy Kimmel's show and am having a blast watching them. Thanks Fred!

OMG, I just watched the premiere episode of "Space Force" and howled at Fred's character... then in the final credits, "In memory of Fred Willard." WHAT?! How did I miss this?! Bless that man and may he continue to crack up folk in the great beyond, as I'm sure he'll find a wellspring of material.
