nice ode to Illuminati color scheme: black, white, n red, save for green during the bridge. green denotes "psychosis" induced by this corrupt system.

All the blessings to those still on the horse…
Rolling clouds, riding wave after wave, these minds distinguish the rhetorical from the theatrical, byproducts of the could’ve or would’ve, yet left alone like myself to live through others pain…what heroine brings is the rise and fall of humanity, leaving the remnants of what we all should’ve been…the addict, to the musician, to the artist within the artist…I love you I love you I love you

What janky semi slapped together saturday night jam session unpolished straight from the heart and soul beautiful timeless magic they can create. I wouldnt change a note or word or chris' old attitude for anything in the universe ever. God dam we are getting .... The "O" word.....aint we? How many... Did some one say 30 (gasp!) Yrs ago? Yep i was 23 when i bought southern harmony and first album on a rainy saturday after waiting in line for many hours to get into record store to buy AIC concert tickets and on impulse grabbed both Black Crowes albums /cds too. They are in the category of one of my most treasured possessions.

They came out somewhat quietly, but when word got around the appreciation for a tight , new sounding, not cookie cutter band made them popular in many ear starved homes where combined talent gave us this masterpiece

I was 20 years of age when this album dropped, living with my band in the city after leaving the backroads and farmlands of Kentucky a couple years prior. I had big dreams of playing my songs to thousands of people, and I believed this was possible because my band was really good. But when I got this cd and listened to it over and over I began to realize that it does not matter how fast your guitarist can shred arpeggios, the fact that your bassist can slap like Flea is not getting you as far as you might think, what matters most is a good song, one that a soccer mom will sing at the top of her lungs to her kids in the family van, a song that your audience sings back to you because they know every fucking word like it was gonna be written on their tombstone. That is what matters most. The Crowes had more good songs in their souls than arguably any other band ever. And from that rather long list, somehow, ten of the best all made it onto the same record.

i liked their first two albums, every song a classic song. and mr robinson got one of the finest soul and blues voices ever.he learned from the old soul stars like w.picket otis redding ray charles and made it his own, REMEDY is one of the greatest riffs, ive ever heard.
but they never made it in germany. it was an american phenomenon, cris robinson grew up ,hearing the great soul singers, me ,i grew up with schmalz, and thats why i can sing almost everything ,but not the blues lol when rock n roll was a big thing in the late 50 ties and sixties, in england and u s a , germany still broadcasted waltz marchmusic and tons of schmalz, and this is ,why germany has not one great rock singer.i was always envy you had the blues and rock n roll and we had peter krauss and roy black,🤔
