AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Review - Cinebench R15 Benchmark and Blender 3D Rendering

Finally some adequate testing of the new Ryzen 7 CPUs. I got tired of those gaming benchmarks on a clearly not gaming chip.

Thanks for showing how Blender utilizes the CPU. I'm also going to build a workstation till the end of the year and I'll probably get the AMD Ryzen 7 1800x too.

hey, can you give me some advice ? i want to build pc desktop for heavy multitasking and full rendering video. i want the rendering video process going fast.. maybe can you give me the spec ? i have budget arround $1200.

and maybe still i can play some HD game too in that pc ? 😊

i dont know why blender render is if use for a cpu, maybe if you do something i have not used blender for.... with rendering graphics for a scene we use gpu.
im more interesting in the parts of blender that actually uses cpu and benchmark that, like baking and physics calculation.

Great test video. I have an important question. I'm learning so much right now as I am about to start a PC build. How much does a video card take into effect when rendering say a 15minute 1080p file in adobe premier pro?? How much does the GPU matter in this specific case?? I'm dying to know as I am looking at video cards.

Got my wife the Ryzen 7 1700 for editing, overclocked it to 3.85 GHz for fun and got a CINEBENCH R15 score of 1678! Take that intel! ... but I nearly cried, my FX 9590 5.3 GHz best CINEBENCH R15 score is 881!

damn I'm running my 1800x at 4.1Ghz with 3200MHz RAM and my max score was 1523.

Much better than my cinebench score of 205 on my i7-870
