Why are they using women in their 20 to show hairstyles for women over 40?

Bobs just make you look older and like a Karen, sorry. I realize they’re often recommended for the inevitable hair thinning when your hormones start to misbehave.

If you have a large bust, a Bob will make you look like one of those obese grandma types. I’m keeping my hair mid-back length with soft blonde highlights at 52; I find it looks a lot more youthful to have longer hair. I let it grow out during the pandemic, now when I look back at photos of my shorter hair I find I look better now with the longer locks. Longer hair also hides an aging neck and jawline.

I went through a lot of shorter haircuts when I was younger, when my jawline was tighter and my neck was smooth. Now I'm pushing 50 I am wearing my hair longer with layers to distract from that and, honestly to rebel. Im told I have this wrong, upside down. I don't understand. I just feel the older I get the less feminine shorter hair looks on me, but maybe it's just me. I have a long oval face. No Botox, fillers or facelifts.

I love the Bob look it just looks cute, I have let my hair grow and it's naturally grey and I get alot of compliments so imbrace my hair as a 58 year old. So whatever look you like imbrace it.

The long hairs we see now are the result of years of effort from the industry so it becomes a trend. Longer hair means women are spending bigger amounts of money on care, services and products.

Why not just let women wear their hair however they want? This is ridiculous.

I want to see someone with real curly hair that likes to blow dry straight or semi straight. Shoulder length.

NOPE! I'm 61 and my hair is long and my natural color, I get compliments weekly on my hair! I'll not cut it short because it's trendy or so called recommended after a certain age!
