I don't know if anyone else can vouch for it, but I remember baaack in the day around 2004 or so the Tails Doll creepypasta was created by accident, because originally people kept memeing him into being this hardcore entity in early forums, in contrast of how easy it was to unlock him, I think all you need to do is beat him in a race and he's the slowest character in Sonic R, there also was another wing of posts that was "X thing will happen if you don't let Tails Doll win" because he was memed to be so powerful.
It came to a point someone made a post about how he would come out of the screen and attack you for real if you lost to him, or because how much he hated losing and it spiraled from there.
Before that point I remember that Tails Doll was really just a bunch of memes like "The Dreamcast is broadcast to be the best selling console, it's only behind because it's trying to let Tails Doll win" and such.

Regarding the "Mew Truck," this is gonna sound like some BS but maybe someone else can corroborate it. I distinctly remember that I did not reach the truck until postgame. Every time this story is brought up, it's always stated that you can't reach it after a certain point, but I know I didn't reach it until well after the Elite Four because that's when I started screwing around and looking for glitches and mysteries.

On top of that, I remember there being a slot machine at the casino that, if you interact with it, says there is a set of keys there. You can't pick up the keys, but I was convinced as a child that those keys went to the truck. Of course I know the whole truck thing was never anything real, but I'm hoping that someone out there can at least corroborate my experiences so I don't feel like a lunatic anymore. Bear in mind this was in the nascent years of the internet and I wasn't following any guides, anything I did in Pokemon Blue was discovered by either myself or a friend.
