I love how Kris Carr is so self assure and only seem to say things she really stands for! f.e. When marie shouts "TLC is great" Kris answers "well, sometimes". That grounded, honest way of being is something I admire! :D

My 'take away' from this was when Kris talked about being the authentic you... I think at some subconscious level we all aspire to be something more, sometimes its easy to confuse that with someone else we adore/envy.  What is becoming more obvious as the years pass for me, is that developing my spiritual self to express my own authenticity is a key point of difference.  Its beautiful and attractive.  Thank you both xx

I love it all- but a big takeaway- single action for me is to give myself permission to use my voice.

That when you choose authenticity it's quite common to have some of your previous supporters turn against you. That you limitations, particularly when you're sensitive, needn't limit your success so long as you stay focused, consistent and be kind enough to yourself to accept them. That successful people don't pave a perfect path to success; they are just courageous/crazy/sexy people who don't give up on themselves.

I am definitely at the beginning stages of my career--aka the school stage where I'm learning and absorbing as much as I can about nutrition and energy medicine so I can be a well-rounded therapist at the end of it. Sometimes I get discouraged because energy medicine is not everyones cup of tea, so it is not always something people respond well too in my everyday world. This episode really inspired me to keep dreaming about the audience that I want to reach, and to let the nay sayers step to the left ;)

One thing I got from this interview was DO NOT COPY ANYONE ELSE!!!! Sooo funny because I was just about to do just that! And part of the reason I was going to do that was because I thought I need not reinvent the wheel and if it seemed to work well with that person-it would most definitely work for me...but I see now how important it is to tell and be about my own story! Thanks!

I loved the "you have to give yourself permission to use your voice" . I struggle with that lack of permission all the time. i think of something that I would like to share in my blog and then I said to myself " noo, who whant to hear that"

Marie, i usually enjoy your videos, and thank you for the wonderful people you invite, but in this video i guess you talk more than your guest :) you continue reppeting what Kris had said, and you been swearing and people had to hear the bip every now and then... :( Finally i ended trying to find out who is Kris in other videos, which is totally fine i guess.

I learned that it is okay to use my voice. I have been having a hard time trying to find my 'voice' in my writing. This helped me see it in a different way. It is not about finding it. I already have it. I just need to give myself permission to use it!
