Why Terraria Removed Ocram

Since Ocram has now been removed I actually used the Consolaria mod for Tmodloader 1.3.5 to gather the footage!

From what I heard, Ocram was basically removed because Re-logic didn't create the boss, or any of the old gen console content. It's sort of a copyright type of issue.

Honestly I think for a final update for Terraria till red eventually does make a sequel to Terraria he should bring back the exclusive bosses and have them have reworks or even special items.

I remember when I first fought on my iPad when I was little, it was still epic

To correct you, they weren't restricted, they were new items that just used recolor sprites from old ones. A respite would be items with the exact same function but different appearances. I.E. you COULD argue all tables are restricted, all beds are restricted, etc. Although it gets iffy since they are crafted in different ways.

I got to beat him before he was removed. Did it on console during a sleepover. Good times.

The older Ocram had demon scythes more than lasers, I never play Tmodloader without consolaria and it seemed slightly different. amazing mod though

They should make him a rare spawn when using an eye of Cthulhu spawner in post mechanical boss hard mode

Frankly I'd love to see someone, whether it's part of an official update or as a mod, rework Ocram to be more unique and maybe update the spritework.

He was such a neat boss, even if, yes, he was pretty bad.

It's such a shame PC Terraria never got any of the 505 Content in any official capacity.
...Well, except for a couple of significantly reworked pets, I guess. Kind of.
(There's the Baby Hornet which is visually very similar to Tiphia but smaller, and there's a Baby Werewolf insted of a full-size Werewolf.)

The destroyer is basically an EoW with lasers though….

I always felt like Ocram was the "mechanical brain" as we have the destroyer, the twins, and skeletron prime. I always thought it would make sense because well- there is a mechanical worm so why not have one for the other major biome?

Pretty happy to say that I had the chance to take him on. Recently got my first PC in like 5 years before that I was playing on console right before they had everything up to date.
It's crazy to think after 12 years of playing I'm actually going to finally see and end credits for the game. It's honestly crazy to think how long this journey has been. I remember when there was no future updates really being planned. It's so crazy to think it's made it this far.
