Absolute masterpiece - like all of your GOT-songs. Can't decide what's better, lyrics, melody, harmonies, voices... And Karlien, great work with the different female voices in this piece and Arias song! Both fit extremely well!

Anyone else feel this could also easily apply to Lord and Lady Briarwood?

The lyrics, the music, the editing and chosen scenes.. all are so perfect. exactly how they felt about each other.
"I'm no man of honour, my guilt runs dark and deep" i do hope Jaime in the books takes a different path though. His honour is still there, contrary to what he believes. it's Cersei that's corrupting him, the mindset of 'only us' that's keeping him from being someone he can be proud of.

For me Cersei is bad seed and Jaime is the unsung underrated hero of the show. Most misunderstood character ever. He's honorable, loyal, wise, intelligent and caring. Cersei is the one who feeds on hatred and others people's misfortunes. Manipulative and cruel as hell. Jaime is brave, courageous and a great leader. Ned held unfair and hypocritical prejudices against him. Jaime's only flaw is his overly powered love for his toxic narcissistic evil sister. Also "Nothing else matters" quoting Metallica are we? Jaime deserved better.

My wife is kinda mad she introduced me to this song because I've become obsessed with it. Lol

The beheading of missandei was the dumbest decision of DnD. That was completely useless. Why would cersei anger the woman with the dragons and the huge alliance in her back?

I really love how the woman's voice is more energic and sound of hate and anger, while the male is more melancholic and calm. Just like Cersei and Jaime were.

Why does everyone call their relationships toxic? I see true caring love, passion, it’s forbidden but not toxic if to look at them. Toxic is Robert with Cersei , yes. Jaime and Cersei have the same attitude , Jaime has never been poor , he was a happy man to be loved back , he pushed Bran from the window not Cersei , I even wonder if she could be that evil to somebody, Jaime behaves more secretly and has a charming smile, while Cersei is always more open about her intentions , but if to look closer, who’s more cruel in its actings, I suppose Jaime is. So they are very much similar, great couple 😆
