3 Minute Twisted Fate Guide - A Guide for League of Legends

anyone watching rn tf's build options have changed a bit since a year ago, you have a lot of options now:

keystones
- unsealed spellbook for hard lanes like syndra
- comet / elec for easy lanes
- first strike for neutral lanes where you want to outscale

items:
- rod of ages when looking to scale with spellbook or first strike; helpful against mages with the survivability, sustain, and ms
- everfrost into melee or divers
- luden's or protobelt with elec / comet against squishies
- night harvester when acting as the carry

tf more or less plays the same right now but he does fair pretty poorly into the current meta (lots of mages that out-trade him and divers that can steamroll him), but he is strong by design and has a lot of versatility. to make him work, take advantage of his strengths and play around his weaknesses

strengths: good waveclear, good engage set-up and follow-up engage, decent poke, strong mid game, global presence, consistency, versatile builds

weaknesses: poor early trades (relative with current meta), weak when isolated, easily punishable (bad ults, mispositioning, etc.), weak all ins

keep in mind tf isnt meant to solo carry alone and play selfishly, he has very low kill potential on his own. you'll want to look to win by playing off or with your team and getting your team ahead, soaking up some of the gold in the process

Twisted Fate is great for team fights. Just a shame most of the trolls, griefers, and noobs im stuck with in Iron prefer a classic 1v3.

Feels like this champion's win condition is not stomping the enemy laner 1v1 or hyper carrying the team, but rather getting his team ahead with big brain macro plays. No wonder TF is a beast in high elo.

Is cull a good starting item on TF, I fell like it would make you get even more gold meaning getting to your item spikes faster.

while i understand his lack of mobility is fine and he has a tp and on press stun...but i just find that he is so slow that even champs without 7dashes catch up easyyyyy even if he stuns everfrostr etc. like oh no i moved 1unit too far away from my tower now the sylas/mid laner can just beat the shit out you till you slowly walk back to safety while trying to land stun so u can get away with more hp left or just die if it is an alkali

Is it me or does his burst combo feel weak

I like his E being attack speed. AD TF go crazy. If they just kept the passive and added an active to make the attack speed faster for 2 seconds or something then I would be down

I feel like twisted fate is hard to climb with in lower elo, especially since he falls off late game, and sadly games never end early...

Was hoping the video would give an advice on how to keep track on which cards would appear first and all on w. Guess I needa remember it on my own.

Does TF really still blow people up in 2022? His AP dmg kind of stinks now

Is it worth getting dark seal if you are confident you will win?

I personaly prefer ludens over everfrost but ludens is really situacional

I feel like TF should be a candidate for a gameplay update. He doesn't need a complete rework, but some touch-ups to modernize his kit and make him feel less clunky would be great.

Is ultimate hunter ever worth over the money for tf?
