I like how the coach was so respectful to the judoka he even gave him tips on how to better imply his judo techniques in the no gi scenario👏🏽 OG coach
ОтветитьKrav Maga would win
ОтветитьThe moment separatemasteries of throwing and groundwork will reunite again you will have the perfect martial art
Ответитьafter watching i can confirm i know exactly 0 more about either art or about how they compare.
ОтветитьI want to learn how to do this, but I don’t have any money to pay for lessons. Does anyone have any advice for how I can learn and train in Jiujitsu if I don’t have any money??
ОтветитьGaspar's Judo sucks, and Aikido is absolutely worthless.
ОтветитьGaspar's randori was at the low 4th kyu judo level. His kuzushi is non existent, his tsukuri poor, that resulted in all the botched nage waza - throws. It lacked explosiveness, speed and power. His newaza was poor too. Next time try with someone that is not a beginner and roughly the same weight.
ОтветитьEn otras palabras, Brasil se robó el Jiu Jitsu por qué todo ya estaba creado, eso de los Gracie ha sido el robo y Marketing de la historia
ОтветитьBruh.. try wresting now
ОтветитьYes, if you let it go forever, always bjj wins . However, in the real world, a good throw would break your neck or a rib, and you would put in sleep .
But Bjj is so cool .
Actually, the roll was in judo, too
ОтветитьThe rules of today's watered down Judo prevent it from being effective as a martial art as it used to be. BJJ is closer to real Judo than "sport" Judo is. That said, you must understand that BJJ IS JUDO, no matter how many times anyone wants to call it something else. BJJ is Judo, Gracie JuJitsu is Judo, with emphasis on Ne Waza and very little Tachi Waza. Today's competition Judo is called Judo but it is far from the Kano JuJitsu which was its original name.
Ответитьare you sure he is judo brown belt?
ОтветитьWorst video ever
ОтветитьThis Judoka guy never trained ne-waza in his life. You don't end a wazari(half-point) without exploding and smashing or attacking. I train all my life both(judo and BJJ)...jiu jitsu for obvious reasons gonna be dominant on the ground BUT you don't simple release the uke when your falling...you fall smashing.
How a Wise man once upon time say
A wise man once said, "Who Cares? Today we're going smash"
It should be mentioned that a brown belt in judo is not a brown belt in jiu jitsu. If we’re talking about years in and amount of knowledge that should be known, a judo brown belt is like a jiu jitsu purple belt.
ОтветитьHe is Italian, mee too
ОтветитьBJJ is Kano JuJitsu. Today's Judo is not.
Ответитьi do bjj and im 15 and train with fully grown men i manage to tap some of them out its not about wight its about skill
ОтветитьНе понял, почему дзюдоист не проявил агрессии, свойственной этому виду прекрасной борьбы? Успех в современном дзю-до приносят только решительные и мощные атаки.
ОтветитьIt's the worst judoka i've ever seen
ОтветитьI used to take judo and we also did some ground grappling.
ОтветитьCould you please let other people pick your opponents for you, rather than pick the person with whom you are already familiar, and with whom you might already be able to predict the outcome.
ОтветитьGasper is being very nice here, If you get thrown with a major hip throw, or even worse a shoulder throw (like a Seoi), it will be a bit painful even on the mat. It will make you pause in shock for a sec or two. If Gasper through you with a powerful Seoi nage following it with a pin, you will not be able to run any BJJ after that.
ОтветитьThis guy sucks at judo hahaha choose a good judoka please
ОтветитьGet someone your own weight. This video is not valid already
Ответитьno way this guy is a brown belt, his form is that of a child's green belt max
Ответитьbjj is only good for sport bjj wont work in the streets bc once your on the ground someone else can run up and attack you from the ground its judo thats the better martial art
ОтветитьMy father is a judoka who earned his black belt in the early to mid 70s. He lost contact with the sport and as a treat I took him to the 2012 olympics to see the judo, he was horrified and basically wanted to leave before the end. Said it wasn’t the sport he did and couldn’t understand how after every throw they just stopped, there was no ground game compared to what he said it used to be. Its a shame judo went that route as it’s damaged the sport long term giving bjj the opportunity to grow in that space. I started with judo and bjj at the same time and it was a simple decision for myself.
ОтветитьA guy the weights almost 200 pounds against a opponent that only weighs 160 there’s no match if they had a 200 pound Jodo opponent it will be a different story
Ответить柔道は、相手の柔道着をつかんで試合をするのです。相手が柔道着を着ていないのに、自分だけ柔道着を着るなんてありえません。この種の異種試合は??? 見たくもありません!!!
ОтветитьI don't have a stake in this debate since I'm looking to learn a martial art but haven't yet invested in one yet. One thing I can say for sure though is that this video tells me nothing or next to nothing. You have a significant weight and height advantage to the brown belt you're facing and potentially much more general experience in different martial arts. If you're going to do a video like this you really need the competitors to be in roughly the same weight class and same experience level, not just with the martial art they're using but martial arts in general.
ОтветитьHonestly, I feel like judoka used around 50% of his power in this sparring. A lot of Judo takedowns are executed after conditioning the opponent with explosive movements and then blasting. I very much love the attention these sports get on social media but would definitely say this isn't an accurate representation of how do they compare.
P.S. After reading other comments, I feel confident in agreeing that a brown belt in this video would be a mid orange belt in any serious Judo gym. In my gym it takes around 8 years of training to get to a brown belt.
I want to see BJJ VS Kosen judo
ОтветитьLame
Ответитьrush to the comments to see all the judo guys crying 😂😂
Ответитьnonsense the judo guy, not too good...
ОтветитьJudo guy grip is weak and no explosiveness.
Ответитьyears ago there was a kid at the playground who did bjj, one day he got into a fight with some guy and with his bjj easily grappled him and put him in a submission move. he was threatening to break the dudes arm when his friend ran up and kicked his nose in like a football, if he werent in a submission position he mighta dodged it. grappeling is nice and all but it wont save you in a street fight
Ответитьno offense to the judoka, but this is NOT how you fight a bigger stronger opponent.. it comes down to personal style, etc.. maybe there is more footage, but what i saw was not good... there was no attempt to move the opponent, keep them off balance, etc.... size matters..... if you find your self in the Seattle area, let me know, I'd love to try this again... who knows, maybe I'll learn something too :) and yes, I am a sandan, so not a brown-belt :)
ОтветитьInteresting that it went, ju jutsu - judo - Brazilian jiu jitsu
ОтветитьWell you are just defending and he's the one who has to open himself up when attacking. Of course you are going to beat him with a 13kg weight advantage and zero initiative.
ОтветитьMy 2 cents on this: I've "randoried" against a BJJ practicioner under Judo rules some years ago, when I was at the top of my Judo game. The clear difference I took from that sparing was that BJJ focuses heavily on overwhelming your oponent with force, while judo focuses on outsmarting your oponent. In this video, I noticed the lack of footwork from the Judoka. When facing a heavier/stronger/futher reaching oponent, sweeping his feet out with speed right before he shifts his weight to that feet is fundamental. I've took down 100kg judokas simplying by sweeping counter attacking at the right time. You will never win on brute force, thus you have to outsmart or outspeed your oponent. (I was about 70kg at the time)
ОтветитьBeing that defensive in a Judo match gets you DQ'd.
ОтветитьJudo, Aikido, and even BJJ require your opponent to play along by the rules in order to work. Therefore, they will never actually work.
ОтветитьIt has been debunked for a while now that Carlos Gracie learned from maeda.....All extant evidence and even Reila Gracie's book confirmed Carlos studied with Donato Pires first and had little to no training from Maeda. Which Reila Gracie said he claimed to train under for promotional reasons. lol
Ответить
