Hey fox gang! Today we are starting a second series and I really hope you will enjoy my Hunter x Hunter videos as well as my One Piece ones! In case you are new to the channel, there will be more HxH content coming soon! That being said, what are your thoughts on Gon?
ОтветитьWhat is the name for the first song used in the intro?
Its not in the description
You already got me with "Gon"
And "most well-written shounen heroes of all time"
Plz make Natsu character analysis .
ОтветитьIt wasnt uncomfortable to wathing adult gon kill pitou to me I understood and would react the same way if someone i was close to was killed by a bug like her
ОтветитьBecause it is dog shit doesnt make sense and is so poorly done..and then throw the age up and skip to unlimited power..yeah hunter hunter was okay but now its a shit show..anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot
ОтветитьYou forget about dragon ball z
ОтветитьThat's why our parents told us to choose our friends wisely when we were kids
With absence of his father, gon has decided To Befriends anybody who's useful to him no matter what's their background
as a consequence he lost his humanity he even tried to kill one of his kind
Also i love how the crowd start Boeing ging after his irresponsibility toward gon 😂
Hisoka's actually a magician, dude.
ОтветитьI find Gon to be so lame and his transformation is so trash in my eyes
ОтветитьQué buen video. Me sirve para reflexionar
ОтветитьI first watch Yu Yu hakusho and then Hunter x Hunter. That's the order to understand better the togashi work art
ОтветитьSo no one gonna say it:
Gon's Gone
😝
at least naruto trained to become stronger where Gon and Kurapika simply just used some op ability that allows them to destroy anyone. Bleach borrowed this stupid idea as well. Thats why Naruto is the best battle shonen. Better strategies and more specific details about each characters abilities.
Ответитьthis is lazy writing. He lost his powers to beat one opponent? so the shows over then right? lol nope they'll make some stupid reason why he gains his powers back. stupid! this is where anime is like a cult. Once the viewers are invested you can slip anything in there and they wont care cause they are already so attached to the characters. Gon could have gained new powers by drinking his own urine and fans still would love it.
ОтветитьGon shows how the world can break someone and how loss truly destroys people at times,he is ruined innocence and how someone truly innocent can become a monster
Killua on the other hand is living proof that you can always come back from that darkness and redeem yourself or at least find some kind of peace within the bloodshed, that humans can still develop even if they at one point are the very existence of depravity and bloodshed
A monster becoming a kind soul under the right circumstances
Do more Hxh Video manu!!
Ответитьgon is really annoying. IDK why people like a trash like that in pretense of his age. Fcuk killua is same age as well and his environment was much harsher than this 2nd copy MC of a protagonist. I believe the arcs where he showed himself the least were the best. Yorknew arc was better than chimera ant arc just because of his absence.
ОтветитьIts really shame that they stopped this great series
ОтветитьMaybe Gon fell into darkness because people consistently pronounce his name incorrectly
ОтветитьThroughout the show I thought the only reason why Gon's a good boy is because of aunt Mito. Had it not been for her filling Gon with perspectives of what it means to be a good person, whenever God does anything around the first arc, he always uses aunt Mito's words as an example or as an incentive for his good deed pure behaviors that inspires the characters around him to be won over. Because aunt Mito is a woman of righteousness, and Gon, what was portrayed as a naive, sweet and innocent boy was nothing more than a coverup for what he really was, a monster.
During the heaven arena arc, when he literally almost died with that bayblade guy, he STILL jerked with excitement. It was kinda...foreshadowing, with how Killua and Wing seemed almost frightened, and then I somehow came to my own conclusion that Gon is quite unhinged, from the start, the screws to his sanity has been hammered on by aunt Mito, regarding the way he was raised, and then when he spiraled into insanity, that's when the real him shows up, the real him in which the same young boy who wanted to find his father for being a piece of shit, without feeling hurt or anything at all about it, he's always been a monster in a good boy's body.
EDIT: Also I do have to agree with you about Gon being a one-in-a-million protagonist/hero, it's like that because he's completely the opposite of a hero. He's what I like to call a destructive protagonist, the kind of protagonist that does good but in a bad way, such a bad way that it causes everyone else around him to go down with him, and by everyone I mean Killua, his friends and all that other stuff, in order for he himself to achieve his goal. It's an interesting and rather refreshing aspect, no lie, and exactly what I'd like to see more in protagonists and heroes, although it's quite ambiguous, I don't think it matters because when a character who matters a lot swivels into insanity, it's more interesting.
Everyone’s getting so worked up abt how gon’s “a monster” and how he’s “selfish” but are also kinda forgetting he’s a teen who for most of his life didn’t have to experience this the disappointment of the real world, so, of course if you give a 13 year old a destructive magical nen power and someone who was important to him’s death, he’s probably gonnna go ape sh. Mostly, because he doesn’t know how to properly handle his emotions towards someone’s death. I mean growing up, the only people who ever held significance to him was his grandma and aunt mito.
ОтветитьI’d love to see you do more Hunter X Hunter vids. This is great.
Ответить“Stain the future, the deep darkness”
ОтветитьIm realazing that i am thesame as Gon but i am mentally maturing, but i still have this malice in me and thks way of thinking that only friends or usefull people are good and weak or unfair bad people are evil, like my alcholic father whom manipulated and traumatised me mentally
ОтветитьGon gave up because he broke down and honestly that can happen to anyone. Especially a little kid who has no guidance. Gon is such a unique shounen protagonist. Only other protag that I can think of that is unique is probably denji(chainsaw man).
ОтветитьKurapika is the third main protagonist and currently the sole protagonist of Hunter X Hunter. I guess you just didn't read the manga.
ОтветитьNo one gonna say this guy absoulutely scraped Alexzndxr's entire introspection and ananlysis???
ОтветитьThis story shows a lot of gray, dark sides of characters yes. But like “lost his morality and humanity” is not true (His deep character development is interesting nevertheless). He snapped because his father figure was killed brutally. Isn’t it the same for many shounens? MCs fight against strong enemies and kill them. In some stories they stay alive for the sake of keeping the kindness” of a character. But if you add at least a bit more realistic touch to those fights, it’d be too hard to keep such opponents alive. Like Pitu was insanely strong, Gon could either die crying or do what he did.
ОтветитьGot to say, I'm a bit upset how the other videos on your channel are. But this was truly a masterpiece in modern media. Pleasure to watch! Hope you get all the success you deserve!
Ответить"true warriors confronts the evils of society
That most people won't refuse to even admit they exist."
Gon just confronted an evil.
Gon is not about light nor darkness.
He is simply a shade of grey.
Why can't we have 1000 episodes of this? 😭😭😭
ОтветитьThis dynamic is very realistic. I had rich friends with fathers who would beat the shit out of them with a hockey stick. And my ghetto friends would have almost unlimited time and freedom.
ОтветитьMaybe this is explained somewhere else, but there is one thing that doesn't make sense to me. Kite's revival. It's explicitly shown or stated that any human eaten by the Chimera Ant queen will have their personality re-emerge in their new body. However, Kite was never eaten by the queen. His body was was basically put into a freezer until it could be made into a training dummy by the royal guard. So how did his "essence" end up getting consumed in order to be reborn as a young girl?
Ответитьwhat makes it even better instead of the classic badass rage fights we get in anime where they usally forgive or at lest calm down. with gon instead he looses his humanity and brutally beats his oponent to death and does not stop even when shes dead a much darker rage transformation then the classic anime rage tranformation and it really shows what a dark and mest up path gon took
ОтветитьNever liked hunter x hunter to be honest
ОтветитьITS NAAAA RUUUUU TOOOO not naruto gosh get it right
ОтветитьHe wanted revenge, yes! But he has so much guilt too!
ОтветитьIma say it right now, gon was in the right.
ОтветитьHiroka: "Go on, ....tElL mE mOrE."
ОтветитьGon is not the typical shounen main character we see in anime, he is not like Naruto or Natsu, he is not this always perfect and optimistic main character we see everywhere, he is a child, a little younger than typical main characters, and he has flaws.
Gon has never lost anyone, he technically lost his mom but he has never seen her before and thus can't be considered close to her, he is very kind and innocent and we have been introduced to his pure nature right from the beginning.
Kite was more of a father to Gon than his actual father although they didn't spend that much time together, Gon experienced Kite's kindness and protective nature the first time they met on whale island and he experienced it again when they met once again in the chimera ants arc, Kite treated them more like a father than a friend, he told them that they would have to fight for themselves and that he wasn't going to protect them but he still did every time they faced danger and literally sacrificed his life to save them. It is not Gon's or Killua's fault that Kite died, whether they had stayed or not Kite would still end up dead and they would have died too.
When he gets to meet Pitou again he still believed that Kite is alive, he was so mad and angry for whatever torturous hell she made Kite go through, he was even more enraged when he saw her caring for Komugi, a fellow human just like Kite. He felt like it is unfair for her to treat a human that's important to her while casually killing or hurting a human that's important to him, "why would you save her after all you have done to Kite ?".
Killua was definitely mad for Kite's death but he had more experience with death and killing and knew how to keep himself calm to think logically, what he said to Gon was logical, Komugi didn't hurt anyone and she deserved to be saved especially since they are the reason for her severe injury, Gon was even more mad when he heard Killua's "justification" for Pitou's actions, he felt like Killua didn't get him and that he was so calm because he didn't actually care for Kite, Gon wasn't being his usual self, he didn't give everyone the the benefit of the the doubt like he usually does, he didn't trust Pitou like had trusted Meleoron, he didn't even view her as a living being, "you want me to trust that thing ?", he viewed her as a thing, the degradation we have never seen coming from Gon, Gon who has treated everyone with respect, even ants, he hated killing the ants and tried to spare them whenever he could, but right now he was so mad and frustrated that he wanted to destroy everything, in a time like that no one could ever be considerate or moral, he was hurt and broken and blamed and hated himself and Pitou for everything that happened to Kite, he was so frustrated and desperate to get Pitou to heal Kite and he couldn't get himself to trust Pitou's words, "I will come with you to Peijin after I heal her", he could have killed Pitou right there and then but he didn't, not because he likes her or trusts her but because he needs her to heal Kite, she knew that and used that to her advantage to buy time to heal Komugi, she could have told him that Kite was dead right then and there but she didn't, he was right about not trusting her. Gon was still convinced that Kite is alive up until Pitou told him that he is not which is why he broke down like that, he had this internal fight about who's fault it is, "it is my fault that Kite died" "but Pitou is the one who killed him", he experienced emotions he has never ever felt before and just like he said he didn't care anymore, he felt tricked, he so desperately wished that she was lying and once he got over that shock and denial, he exploded, he bursts into a mess of anger, "I don't care anymore", this is the point of no return for Gon who has decided to give up everything for revenge, it is almost comparable to Kurapika's will for revenge but the latter had maintained a sense of self-control while Gon couldn't. In my opinion Gon's temporary fall into the darkness is justified, he has every reason to be this angry and desperate for revenge, it is sad that Killua had to take those hurtful words with calm nerves, it is sad that Komugi's life had to be risked although she had nothing to do with a Kite's or anyone's death, it is sad that Gon couldn't control himself before slipping into the embrace of death, it is all very sad but I can't expect anyone to be calm and moral in that situation, Gon isn't a monster but he isn't an angel like most people expected him to be, everyone is a combination of light and darkness, we are talking about humans and not devils and angels.

ОтветитьI love how Gon is flawed as a character, it make him feel a lot more human even after CA arc.
ОтветитьThis really changed my views on hxh as a whole
ОтветитьThe thing that trips me up is that Kite only spent a very limited amount of time with him…yes Gon could have bestowed a father-like figure unto him but Kite definitely never felt that way. What I mean is usually that perspective comes from both people, and that there is a strong bond cultivated with love and care with time. I mean what gon had with Kite he also had with many other older male characters (wing, Leorio, etc). I don’t think it’s because he views him as a father figure but more so that he truly lost. Remember when Hisoka left him to live in the hunter exam? Typically you would be content yet of course a bit humiliated. Gon was on the verge of exploding. Even though he knew he was outmatched from the beginning. It reminded me a bit of when he is with Pitou in the tower. I mean, it could be said that Gon did bestow a father-like status to Kite..and his understanding of that is so eskewed thanks to Ging. But it would still be a weak bond. Whether we like it or not, Gon has shown that he has a reverence to Ging and wants to become good enough to make him proud no matter what. Kite was a guide for that, and then Kite was taken down. To me that’s what I think Kite was. A powerful mentor meant to guide Gon to Ging (his amazing father he’s wanted to meet for so long). Yes Gon IS caring, yes he is still kind. But I think there’s something in him that is just a burst of expectation..like too much pride and expectation that he needs to prove himself a good enough son to Ging. And he failed. I could honestly write more but this is already way too long already
ОтветитьWhat if gon transformed into an ant
Ответить
