How about some reviews on serrated folding knives.
ОтветитьCousin>cuz>cuh>Kuh
ОтветитьThe Assassin, Dog Fish and Sparrow definitely have my attention 🤩
ОтветитьMade in China. No thanks.
ОтветитьI like the Dogfish and the little neck knives.
Ответить"Ask your doctor if Metapropysol is right for you."
ОтветитьThanks for putting SO many Kizers together! Few of us could do that. I like Kizer. That Meta-whatever fix blade is gorgeous. Really great post, Thanks again. ✨😺
ОтветитьWhy does Kizer have to billboard their blades? Snowflake XL? Really?… Fire those designers ffs… lol. Anyway, love your channel brother!
ОтветитьEdit: see reply below
ОтветитьI kind of wonder what Kizer is using to coat a bunch of these blades on these newer knives. I’m only interested because I have found out over the years that outside of PVD and DLC most finishes just don’t last very long at all. In my opinion, a quality Cerakote finish is about as low as you want to go for a coating based finish, in terms of quality. If Kizer is just using some type of Duracoat or spray on paint based finish the coating is going to deteriorate very quickly, and you will not be satisfied with the condition of your coated blade. The best is PVD or DLC, but a lot of companies are hesitant to even go down that road as the process can significantly increase cost. The application process is very complex and expensive.
ОтветитьI've had more troubles with Kizer factory edges and lackluster sharpness out of box. Couple that with bad grinds in general (one side ground more than other, shallow/deep problems along the grind and such) I really think that whoever is doing that slack job of sharpening should be beaten HARD on-site by everyone else who is trying to make a quality product. The beatings should continue until their sharpening skills improve greatly. I really like Kizer knives but every single time I get one it feels like gambling, and hoping for one that is right. I have more Kizer knives than any other brand at this point and sure seen more bad, weird, and generally cruddy workmanship more in the past 8 months than ever before. I can stand touching up a factory edge or resetting the bevel. What I can't stand though are lock issues, and have seen those too. Get it together Kizer. Make your knives function as well as they look and be consistent.
ОтветитьI’d like a review on the large fixed blade first
Ответить*SNOWFLAKES gunna love that Snowflake!
ОтветитьLove your channel brother, you put out the best knives and describe each one perfectly.
Thanks for the work you do to help us viewers. You are appreciated my friend, GREETINGS from Southern California, this is Alan.
Dark matter drop bear?! Fuck me. Yup im a buyer.
ОтветитьLove that big fixed blade!
ОтветитьThe XL assassin is good.
ОтветитьMan, I want the dogfish, both the updates - the original XL and the Drop Bear - AND that DP claw. Kizer killing it!
ОтветитьMan. That is a stunning fixed blade.
Ответитьwould love to see a 4" blade version of that Dogfish
ОтветитьCivivi is not happy that you used their micro towel on a Kizer blade lol.
Kizer is absolutely great for the buck!!! Love their knives very much so! Glad you did not do a spin wack on the Drop Bear. Unfortunately it fails quite easily for a crossbar. I am a huge fan of the Drop Bear regardless! So much so I have four of them and one is the 10th anny in Damasteel. You want to play with it let me know bro.
I REALLY need to get a kizer in my collection but i cant get enough of the spyderco leafjumper in K390 right now what an incredible knife being slept on
ОтветитьI love that last fixed blade. It'd look great cutting steaks, but D2?
ОтветитьThat drop bear would be cool without the black coated blade we like their stonewash and satin. Tired of button locks also lol
Ответитьthat last big one is totally ruined by the finger grooves (stupid on such a big knife) and D2 (again, stupid to go for such a chippy steel for such a big knife)
Ответитьthat cracked ice finish will look better with wear... definitely a user
ОтветитьThe dogfish is a good looking knife. Except for that oversized rectangle hole. Why would they make it that shape/size. It kind of ruins the aesthetics for me.
ОтветитьReview on the dogfish please! That thing looks badass! Same deployments as a Cormorant but not butt ugly 😂
Also as a lefty I love what they’re doing with these beautiful filler tabs ever since they did it on the Varatas which I picked up for my Bday shortly after it released
Yee yee!
ОтветитьI do my best to avoid supporting China in any way, but I have three Kizer folders. 🤦🏻♂️ They build some true left-hand frame locks, and for what they sell for they are really quite an amazing product. Those three folders are in constant rotation. Once in a while I check and see if they’ve come up with any more models for lefties.
Ответитьok i pull up
ОтветитьI wish the Drop Bear liner was a cartridge, the handle feels way too heavy for the blade.
ОтветитьI agree. A premium dog fish would be very desirable. I really like that, with titanium handles and like a M390 etc. Man...nice knife.
ОтветитьLove the big fixed blade just wish it was a different steel.
ОтветитьA light blue (ice blue) anodizing on the cracked ice finish would be really cool
ОтветитьId love to see the review on that dogfish!
Ответитьthe dogfish is nice! I'll want a premium version too!
ОтветитьThat dogfish one looks good 👍
Ответитьthat kizer fixie sounds like a mood stabilizer haha...
ОтветитьI picked up an original xl on black Friday for a good price, it has the same textured carbon as the first knife you showed, this is my first kizer knife but won't be my last, I'm very impressed with it. just wish it was a bit bigger. looking at the begleiter xl next
ОтветитьI won the ti sparrow and love it
ОтветитьReally like that Sparrow. Kizer makes some interesting blade shapes, and their quality and workmanship always impresses. Think this'll be my next buy.
ОтветитьWhat to try from kizer ?
ОтветитьKizer is making some great looking knives!!
Ответить😮dark matter is easily the best cf imo, love it
ОтветитьSparrow looks awesome
ОтветитьBeastly fixed blade. Always liked the look of the sparrow. And that dogfish looks sweet.
ОтветитьKara is exactly who I thought of when you talked about that Kizer. Love that Sparrow
ОтветитьGot over fixed blades long ago but the blade on this is amazing. Need a folding version lol
