As a white guy what scares me in Africa are not the tigers or lions, it's the things you can't see like mosquitos, ticks, deadly microorganisms like brain-eating amoeba (which you can get by being submerged in warm bodies of water) and flesh eating bacteria and deadly snakes you don't see hiding in the grass.
