Um lixo. Pior celular que já tive. Não consigo ver uma vantagem . Trava , desliga as ligações sozinho, vai pra modo visitante sozinho . Pra resumir quebrei ele em 100 pedaços.

Do not buy this phone, this is a pure lie, I bought a cat s30 phone after 2 days on the playground, it rolled off my pocket and fell, the whole screen crashed, I did not get the money back and did not repair it.

Why some S61 models shows 0-8m (meters) and some shows 0-10m (meters) on the back close to the laser? Are some FAKE?

Yo compré un CAT S50 como a los 20 días de comprado se me cayó de filo y se apagó y ni más volvió a prender igual no hay servicio técnico para esos celulares y tenía problemas con el volumen desde mi punto de vista esos celulares son una sola vida sí se te daña no encuentras un lugar donde lo erreglen y peor los repuestos no se consiguen es una mala inversión comprar un CAT por esos motivos y lo compré en 650 dólares

Please never stop making these phones!! By far my all time favorite phones ever created. Just got the s61, been using the s60 for past two years and still works great. Please make a 62 also :)

About over-priced…..
I can give you an example that CAT phone (S60) saved me more money than it cost.
Last year (living in a building apartment), 11pm, knock on the door. It's my neighbor from apartment undermine, complaining that the common sewer pipe from my apartment is leaking and demanding compensation for the damages and for me paying for a plumber (he is a plumber, how convenient).
I go to his place… I see a vertical sewer pipe with a puddle. Turning on the thermal camera, finding the leak…. The leak is from his side of the pipe.
The SoB tried to scam me. He wasn't ready for the option that I actually have a thermal camera in the pocket.

Got more stories that it saved me money and time….

But seriously…
How much you think that FLIR thermal camera cost?
And if you buy it, what are the chanses that it will be in your pocket when you need it?

I would prefer they just built in a classic laser meter instead of using the camera to estimate the distance. I mean, those laser meters aren't that expensive compared to a FLIR camera for example, so Its not the cost problem. It seems that putting a laser itself isnt a problem either - so unless there is some problem with integrating the module that typically measures the distance in those devices, that would be a much better solution IMHO. But I still enjoy that CAT tries to push the boundaries of what a phone can do.

Hi. Anyone has problem with laser measurement? I did precise calibration several times and all measures appears as 0,0 cm. Phone is with Android 9. Don't know how it worked before update, because it was at old owner's.

I have Cat s61 and this measurement function is absolutely useless it's never accurate I have Bosch Zamo and it is always spot-on which cost just a fraction of the price of my s61

i have a cat s62. the celphone doesnt have the software and the company doesnt want to give me the drivers so that i cant use my CAT... really this is a shame
