Maintaining the revenue of an economy is not a good sign.
It can be compared to a salaried worker who makes just enough to pay his bills every month.

Same for a country, we need surplus in the economy while trying to maintain low cost. That is the model for a growing economy.
And how do you achieve that? By creating sustainable industries. Skerrit you taking money to build all kinds of things that we do not need and most of them sit stagnant after awhile( watch the Moroccan hotel.
Skerrit, where are the factories the people have been asking you for? That is what the country needs to turn or raw materials into packaged goods that generate 3x more profit.
Skerrit, we need more foreign markets for our products, increase international trade.
Skerrit, we need a university in Dominica that can offer bachelor programs in business and sciences, to reduce the level of brain drain and make education more affordable.
Skerrit, we need utilities that are reliable, not load shedding and cutting off of water every time rain falls.
Skerrit we need reduced taxes on import so food in the supermarkets can be more affordable.
Skerrit, we need higher wages, you cannot continue to watch big man and woman and give them
$800-$1000 a month.
Skerrit, you need to recalibrate these social programs. You are making the population lazy and reliant. Social programs are established as a means to an end, not as a permanent crutch.
Lastly, we need to stop the high level of corruption in Dominica that is affecting all sectors. People need to be held accountable and if someone cannot perform then they need to be replaced.

Is like you have been so high and might that you forgot what it’s like to be on the other side. The people are suffering and you turn a blind eye because you don’t know how it feels.

You talking about wars impacting Dominica but it didn't stop you from taking 64 k from Dominicans every month to live in a mansion neither has it stopped you and people in your entourage from building big houses and the big building in Roseau.
