The way that the royalists murdered Rasputin was so cowardly done. Rasputin was among the most maligned historical figures in history.

What garbage the story of Rasputin’s death is! The truth is the cowards came up behind him and shot him in the head then they came up with this bs story so they didn’t look like the cowards they were ! These are the same people who murdered innocent men, women, children and even a dog in the basement the night the Romanov’s were murdered 😒 Cowards the whole lot of them !
Ps as for Rasputin’s “premonition” about the Tsar’s family dying in two years yeah it didn’t take a genius to see which way the wind was going to blow if you were an outsider looking in . A lot of people could have predicted how it would end. I don’t find this as evidence that Rasputin was anything more than a con artist who got lucky now and again when the boy’s Hemophilia would ease

I'm usually unconcerned about the fates of royal families but this particular family's poignant tale of sorrow tugs on my heart every time I hear it.

Why did they speak English?

Ive always believed Rasputin was the Czar s personal Pusher of drugs back then as drugs were part of the Upperclass as a norm. There’s a hidden history, there were some puppeteers behind the curtains. You know who I’m talking about. Someone was pushing the people to revolt inducing economic hardships on the Russians. It was in their plan long before Nicholas was born. The plan was to remove the three big empires: tzarist Russia, the Ottoman Empire and the Ostro-Hungarian empire, in order to get one step closer to “the promised land” you know who I’m referring to: God’s chosen people. All this BS about Rasputin being the cause is just BS. He was far too insignificant to be the cause the collapse of a 300 year standing dynasty.

They were holy people, martyred. I wish they would have given up their luxuries for the poor and angry to give them sustenance and a means of a better life. The people were starving and if they would have taken care of these hungry,poor,dying people things may have been different but God ordained their martyrdom. I find not one thing about this family for pity. While they lived wealth a nation of poor had to do without. Basic needs while they played King and Queen. My care is and was for the family that had so little under this man's rule. Thier greed continued and they could have cared less. The mother had them sew jewels into thier clothes. Still no care for the people. All monarchy people. Seems to only care about themselves.

When the boy tripped and fell, hurting himself when the family was participating in activities at the getaway, and he's in bed with an injury to his leg and groin area, what were the doctors putting on his lower extremities? In the documentary, it shows a picture of the boy in bed,with a doctor applying some sort of goo-like substance to his legs, very thick in application. In the picture, you can see the doctor holding a bowl with the goo-like substance, plus it's all over his hand. I wonder what it is?🤔

It doesn’t say but in 1913 the czar tried for the second time to make his eldest daughter Olga regent but the Duma didn’t give their assent and so it was dropped. She was already a grown woman and reportedly the most politically aware of the family. Instead she remained a background character and all the pressure was on Alexei, which led to more dependence on Rasputin and so on.

Historically Russia had many female tzars: Catherine, Elizabeth, Anna & Catherine the Great. The REAL PROBLEM here is sexist prejudice. Olga, eldest daughter, could have been an excellent tzar. Also Tatiana.

The czarina’s grandmother was the competent, formidable Queen Victoria of The sprawling English Empire.

Why this insane drive for a son? They had 4 healthy, intelligent daughters. It’s the price you pay for your ignorant sexist attitudes.

Alexander III was a fool for failing to educate & train Nicholas the trade of ruling as Tsar. Alexander III’s wife had to rule Nicholas in the background during his first years.

All this tragic disaster was actually caused by enforcing the devaluation of women. I feel sorry for Czar Nicholas and his family, if only he knew how to manage his country and his people better then maybe there would never have been a revolution which would eventually lead to their murder.
