Thank you, finally a European car with an EXACT speedometer. Enough of the overstating BS. My 14 year old Corvette on a 20 year old chassis has an exact speedometer. I absolutely love the Emira!

I wish honda would make a new NSX in the same price/performance range as the Emira. An attainable (almost) super car. 👌

i was really interested on this car... but it is just too slow. so beautiful, but too slow. 17+ sec. from 200-250 takes for ever on the german autobahn. my daily m340i does that way quicker!

Most people here are complaining about straight line performance. If you want to go fast, the EV revolution is upon us. Don’t worry, you can buy a sports sedan EV that can out perform.

I see this car as an engaging car for twisty roads that allows you to connect with the driving experience. It doesn’t matter what the launch times are. It should be fun to row the gears. In 20 years, this car will be a special collector car.

I have driven the Emira on track and on the road and it is a beautiful looking car. At the new price of £85,000 it is no longer value for money given the growing number of serious faults being reported on various Emira forums.

So when I went to look at the car, I sat in it and immediately reserved it. After all the V6 boys left it was just me and the guy from technical that flew in with the car he asked me if I went with the i4 M139 AMG and I figured he was gonna verbally crucify me like the other guys. He said I made the right choice, I asked about the “cooling” problem it wasn’t detuned because of that, it was detuned because it directly competes with the Toyota engine and is roughly 10K cheaper, I’ll wait a bit longer as he said, the V6 owners will regret not waiting for the I4.

Drove cars with double the hp that were less fun. Depends what your looking for

It's refreshing to hear a nice burbly V6. Also love the acceleration times, and the MANUAL.
P.s. Guess what meme I was reminded of during the first small revs in the video 🤣

Guys this thing did 100-200 in 11 seconds all while being MANUAL TRANSMISSION. You lose something like almost 1 second compared to a dual clutch. So for 400hp i think it’s fair. Don’t know why it struggles after the 200 km/h, maybe long gears. The real problem is that it’s not a Lotus, you could tell me whatever but it will never be like an exige 350. The top dog remains the Exige 430 Cup, that’s the car for real hardcore car enthusiasts

There's something wrong here. Even a good old Alfa 4C with 240 hp is faster.
