I remember this day clearly with clarity. I was happy that with Benedict XVI, the Church was in safe hands. May he rest in peace after doing the work of God well. May Jesus Christ the Lord of the Harvest reward him with Heaven just He does those who merit it. In Benedict XVI, I see a future Saint and Doctor of the Universal Church. He was a solid man.

Still remember that day so clearly. It was so strange to see a Pope that was not John Paul II. But Cardinal Ratzinger was so critical to all of us (Catholics) during those hard days when we had to deal with Wojtyla's death that it was a blessing to see him as his successor. He was humble from the very first moments of his papacy to his last moments. An inspiration to all of us. A man that renounces power just because he knows he could not perform as well as he was expected to. A man that never forgot that he was a servant of God. Thanks to Benedict XVI, I could see, clearer than ever, the path to God. God bless you always, your Sanctity.
