Since you said you'd like your market bag to be shorter from top to bottom and longer from side to side, wouldn't you get that if you just put the handles on the long sides of the bag instead of the short sides?

I like the V-neck instead of the boat collar, but it's a great idea to use it reversible! The colors remind me of peppermint! Yay!

If you are interested...Yarniversity has a class once a year or so that is a custom fit skirt class with Anne Budd... not sure if she has just the pattern available though.

Definitely going to be making mini hot water bottle covers for gifts this year! And, yes, we do need another ribbed sock pattern! I love the heel!

You give me ideas for Christmas sweater and Yes you do need a pair of quilty “horse feather” socks. I knit them awhile ago. Might be my favorite socks.

I almost always knit one size larger for a yolk, but then decrease down to a different size once I split for sleeves. It’s annoying, but what fits my body.

Hey Laura, from what I've heard Antigone is a lot softer/easier to work with than most other linens! It's the only one I've tried personally and didn't find it too bad either.

Shoulder span!!! That is so eye-opening 😲👍 We all choose our sizes on based on bust circumference for knitting so no wonder I also had that bump issue before. As an Asian, I also have smaller chest compared to average American or English women.

Now I know that I should base my size on shoulder span. I should get myself measured! Thank you for this interesting information 😊

I’m sitting watching drooling with one hand in plaster itching to get back knitting. Hopefully I will be able to knit small items soon. If so everyone will get hot water bottles this Christmas 🤞🤞

I had a very, very similar issue last year when I was knitting a bottom up sweater. I solved it in a different way (more decreases closer to the neck) but achieved a much better fit. 😊 Anyway, the Maxine sweater looks great!

The maxine sweater colour work and style really looked wow! on you. Also to my surprise the cotton, red stripped sweater also suited you. Great to explore other colours. Well done kiddo.

I think the v neck is better, and I would skip the round shaping in the back. If you wear it v neck in the front, the back may look sloppy.

for your summer jersey, you could always crochet a line of red along the shoulder
