LOVE the ‘deckchair’ sweater so much. Such a great summer, throw on if a little chilly, sweater.
ОтветитьDesign for striped summer thing, please please. ETA: (V-neck) :)
ОтветитьI have to say I gasped when I saw such luxurious linen yarn used for an accessory !
ОтветитьI love hearing about all of your thoughtful details and decisions with what you're knitting and designing!
ОтветитьHey Laura,
Since you said you'd like your market bag to be shorter from top to bottom and longer from side to side, wouldn't you get that if you just put the handles on the long sides of the bag instead of the short sides?
Thank you for your content dear : ) You are a very creative young lady ❤
I love your cotton striped sweater I really enjoy your complex colour striping, I hope you turn this wonderful garment into a pattern. ❤ Thank you
ОтветитьThe stripey sweater is great, I prefer the boat neck but I'm in my 50's.
You could call it "Poolside Sweater".
Laura, can you tell me where I might find the pattern for the little shell purse you showed. Thank you
ОтветитьOooo Laura i love your reversible stripey jumper. Plz write that one up 🙏🏻. It looks a super handy jumper. I love it both ways around. Hard to choose a favourite 🤔.
ОтветитьI am a Texas girl and am perplexed at what one does with a hot water bottle? Do you sleep with them?
ОтветитьLove the MAL idea and a very cute name! I'm very much looking forward to the release of your Jon Arbor Sweater, ever since you first showed it I've been in love 🤩
ОтветитьLOVE the sweater!! looks great on you!!
ОтветитьHi Laura. I love your 5 color sweater & water bottle! And your French market bag. I love the colors in your socks, they're so pretty. Your summery over-sized striped sweater is so cute! I like the V-neck instead of the boat collar, but it's a great idea to use it reversible! The colors remind me of peppermint! Yay!
ОтветитьI love the reversible stripe sweater. Please release a pattern for it? !!!!
ОтветитьThank you so much for mentioning my Muszelka Purse! Also I’m never offended if somebody mispronounces my name. Polish is hard!
ОтветитьMaybe 'Cabana Coverup' or 'Poolside Pullover'?
ОтветитьI’m casting on the Maxine hot water bottle today. I can not wait for the mini. What a great idea for gifts for friends!
ОтветитьIf you are interested...Yarniversity has a class once a year or so that is a custom fit skirt class with Anne Budd... not sure if she has just the pattern available though.
ОтветитьDefinitely going to be making mini hot water bottle covers for gifts this year! And, yes, we do need another ribbed sock pattern! I love the heel!
ОтветитьYou give me ideas for Christmas sweater and Yes you do need a pair of quilty “horse feather” socks. I knit them awhile ago. Might be my favorite socks.
ОтветитьI almost always knit one size larger for a yolk, but then decrease down to a different size once I split for sleeves. It’s annoying, but what fits my body.
ОтветитьI was SO HAPPY to have a new podcast from you to knit to this morning! Thanks for sharing all of your inspiration :). The sweater is stunning, as always!
ОтветитьPlease please please develop the stripy beachy deck chair sweater! please
ОтветитьYour souffle plans are making me want to pull out my unfinished one and I really wish it was finished so I could wear it this weekend 🤣.. I need more knititng time in my days, or more hands to knit on all the things I want to make! Its been wonderful to catch up with you Laura 💗
ОтветитьWould love a market bag pattern. Looks like a fun and useful bag❤
ОтветитьOoh yes, I want to join the MAL! I bought some yarn on holiday for a shawl and have not gotten around to it because I'm making a cardigan for my brother rn. I'm gonna buy the pattern and cast it on this monday :)
ОтветитьHey Laura, from what I've heard Antigone is a lot softer/easier to work with than most other linens! It's the only one I've tried personally and didn't find it too bad either.
ОтветитьLove, love, love all three items Laura. Your re long sleeve Soufflé is going to look fabulous.
ОтветитьAnother very enjoyable podcast, thanks Laura! I love the Maxine sweater and I appreciate all the work you've put into this to make it fit well.
A MAL is wonderful and I'd like to get on board with it. Are wips allowed?
So excited for the MAL! And love the tiny hot water bottle cover- it might be my push to try out a hot water bottle for the first time!
ОтветитьLove your podcasts. You have inspired me to stretch myself with my knitting. Have been knitting for a little over a year and enjoying challenges since watching you. Thank you so much 😊
Also, love your nail polish. Can you share the brand and shade? 😁
Hi Laura. I love your sibling jumper pattern and wonder if you might design a “cousins” jumper? I have two baby grandchildren (a boy and a girl) and think it would be fun to knit “cousins” jumpers for them. Anyway, thank you for your patterns and inspiration.
ОтветитьI love ❤ the Marine sweater! Will definitely purchase this when ready. Love your podcast!!
ОтветитьAlso, I am IN on the MAL
ОтветитьThe Maxine sweater is stunning! The mini hot water bottle covers are such a clever idea for scraps and gift giving! I am loving the “Birken’socks”❤️I would love to knit the pink/red striped sweater!!!!!!
ОтветитьOh I cannot wait for the long sleeve soufflé. A perfect Christmas sweater 😊. I made 4 of the Maxine water bottle covers for gifts last year and every person loved them 😍😍
ОтветитьBrilliant times 3! That Deck chair sweater checks all the boxes, I love both necklines, and the edging is perfect. Birkensocks what a great name and idea! And I think the mini water bottle cover is a great Christmas gift and a wonderful way to test out sweater motifs. You are always inspiring and lovely, thank you thank you!
ОтветитьLovely and can’t wait to the sweater and mini bottle comes out. What size water bottle will you need to have for that pattern?
ОтветитьThose socks are puuuurty!!!!
ОтветитьShoulder span!!! That is so eye-opening 😲👍 We all choose our sizes on based on bust circumference for knitting so no wonder I also had that bump issue before. As an Asian, I also have smaller chest compared to average American or English women.
Now I know that I should base my size on shoulder span. I should get myself measured! Thank you for this interesting information 😊
Love the stripey sweater Laura and the reversible options. 😊
ОтветитьAbsolutely love your summery, stripey sweater! Please, please release it for us!!! 🙏🏻🧶
ОтветитьI’m sitting watching drooling with one hand in plaster itching to get back knitting. Hopefully I will be able to knit small items soon. If so everyone will get hot water bottles this Christmas 🤞🤞
ОтветитьI had a very, very similar issue last year when I was knitting a bottom up sweater. I solved it in a different way (more decreases closer to the neck) but achieved a much better fit. 😊 Anyway, the Maxine sweater looks great!
ОтветитьThe maxine sweater colour work and style really looked wow! on you. Also to my surprise the cotton, red stripped sweater also suited you. Great to explore other colours. Well done kiddo.
ОтветитьWow! Laura , the Maxine jumper looks amazing 🧶
ОтветитьI think the v neck is better, and I would skip the round shaping in the back. If you wear it v neck in the front, the back may look sloppy.
Ответитьfor your summer jersey, you could always crochet a line of red along the shoulder
ОтветитьYou are amazing! Thank you for your delightful ideas and podcast! Enjoy shopping! ❤
