Exactly, Gentlememen,
kicking is the job of legs and not the trunk leaning and leading the kick. The same applies to side-kick, It is the leg stomping body is just following. Eggbeating is the real treat to train and make use of it.
Yet, in this presentation I am missing the side-kikck transformed from mawashi geri, so often used by Kung Fu where in the first phase body is maintained practicaly vertical because of the Mae , even kin geri , which only by adding a hip shifted forwarward, turning it into yoko geri.
May be my dwescription is less perfect, I would like you to test and make best use of it. Paul. 68, retired instructor of Karate.
Hi I'm glad that I found your channel. I'm taking karate class now and I'm new and I was sore in my legs for about 3 days. I'm having troubles with kicks. You taught me how to do it and I've been practicing
ОтветитьCool! Gonna practice after work, thanks!
ОтветитьThis is one of the most informative and helpful videos I have ever seen. I have been doing side kicks and roundhouse for a long time but something was off and I couldn’t tell what was it untill I watched this video!!! Thank you
ОтветитьThis is only maybe good for point fighting like tkd
ОтветитьThis is just what I was looking for.
ОтветитьHi could this be used as fitness training
ОтветитьBrad i know them feels bro my hips weak af
ОтветитьJust do the exercises next time please... there's a lot of "if I was throwing this kick or that one"
Please just show us the exercises and do it with us ten times while giving technique tips
Just a suggestion to make these more user friendly
His kick is clean AF
ОтветитьTried this very lightly I hear popping and felt like my hip was gonna dislocate.
Edit: I mean just lifting the leg and extending the knee. I’ll try more tomorrow xD
👍👍👍
ОтветитьIt's always beautiful to see collaboration in the arts! Thanks for Sharing, I too wish I'd had a chance to pick up the kicking game when I was younger, but hey, tis how the cookie crumbles.
ОтветитьFire.
ОтветитьGreat vid. Will be adding this to my routine. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьVery useful...thank you!
Ответитьvery useful thanks 🙏
ОтветитьPlease make more videos of the Carl Von master🙏🌈
ОтветитьSuperb teaching❤
ОтветитьCant stand TKD but as a black belt from my younger years. What he says boys about the conditioning transitions into mma and Thai boxing is right. TKD has the hip conditioning bang on so if your into your MMA if you take anything from this it's the basic roundhouse conditioning.
ОтветитьNo sirve el traductor
ОтветитьNobody can do it without good stretching .. dont dream it
ОтветитьGreat video! I'm gonna start practising!
ОтветитьExcellent video, so grateful for having this material available for free!
I can feel my lower back muscles to the sides working, anyone have any gym exercises that work this muscle they can recommend?
EDIT: did a google, think what I'[m feeling is the external oblique
This is GOLD.
ОтветитьWoah! Awesome!! 🙌
ОтветитьThank you! I have to figure out where to find a surface where I can pivot on my foot...
ОтветитьAn emphasis on body building and calisthenics opened up my upper body and improved my posture and now my foray into martial arts will provide me with a more open and stronger lower body.
ОтветитьThank God I saw this video! Great video guys! Thank you so much. I used to be flexible like van damme. I'm 46 years old and been out of jujitsu for 2 years. It's heart breaking. I've been dealing with groin pain. I'm trying to get my body back in shape. Those exercises help dramatically with rehabilitation. I could feel a weakness immediately.
ОтветитьIf this guy had ground skills too he would be UFC champ
ОтветитьGood stuff for any age to keep the mobility.
ОтветитьToo much bla bla
Ответитьwoow
ОтветитьWhy do they call that low kick to the knee an oblique kick? Last time I checked obliques are the side abdominal muscles. Not the knee.
ОтветитьCaaaarrrllll that’s how you kill people carrrlll
ОтветитьBrad has a face shape and nose like a Central Asian/Eople of Caucasus not like an Anglo- Saxon or European. Just noticed.
ОтветитьThe best.
Ответить1. Machine gun kick
2. Side kick
3. Side kick pulse
4. Outside egg beater
5. Inside egg beater
Those are the video you wish there were triple thumbs-up options. Super useful. Thank you guys.
ОтветитьExcellent Teacher!!
ОтветитьJESUS LOVES YOU...!
GOD BLESS YOU...!
Hello, I' ve started kickboxing on the fifteenth of January this year, I am almost 55 y.o. are there any dangers in doing it at my age? Thank you.
ОтветитьSee, your problem was that you didn’t hear the teachings of Van Dame. If you’re a real one you will recognize this quite. “Because of my big legs and Karate, I can do the splits no problem.”
ОтветитьThanks for this, very helpful 👍
ОтветитьBravi. Consigli ottimo,,per arti marziali,,,se ci fosse traduzione in italiano ,,sarebbe ottimo
ОтветитьThis is such a great drill and will now be a part of my daily workout.
ОтветитьThis is exactly where I'm falling short and I just couldn't get the chamber right without losing my balance.
This guy is an excellent teacher as witnessed by his kicking ability. Looks like I have even more work to do on what really would be considered 'basics' 😮
You two are amazing! Thank you for the lessons!
