What happened to me is that I reset my iPhone 14 because I forgot the passcode to open my phone but then it said that I had to set up cellular on my Apple ID even though i am already paying for it

Oh my god my data wasn't working for over a MONTH after my visit to Japan. After endless calls back and forth with my cellphone carrier who who couldn't figure out what was wrong, this video finally helped me conclude that it was my configuration profiles from my Japanese SIM that was messing with my cellular data. Thanks!!!

I would say first turn it off and turn it on again before you go to far!

I consider myself pretty tech savvy and knowledgeable about iPhones, and even I had this problem and my fix was so simple. I have auto software updates on but it asks me permission to do it. I think I must’ve just pressed not now and not downloaded the software update and then I had this problem but then after the software update everything turned on.

mine says "select cellular plan" when i look at "cellular" as if i am not paying monthly? i am so confused. cant use phone to call anyone, cant check email, nothing. I can still take photos though which is weird... :(

NO WAY, REMOVING A PROFILE MADE IT WORK?? my cellular for some reason suddenly stopped working at the most random time and I used my sim on another device but it worked, and when I turned on roaming it worked for a few seconds but not after that. I then went and removed a Nielsen mobile profile thing, and it now works. Thanks! And yeah I could do messages and calls but not use the internet.

Turns out my SIM card was the culprit. I managed and managed until it showed No Sim. Then I inserted another SIM card and viola. The dropping signal vanished.

My data wasn’t working and I tried a couple things to no avail and then went ahead and called AT&T and indeed there is a problem in my area(Portland,OR.) to be fixed by 8am tomorrow ! 😅.
