This anime was so overrated. I went in expecting to been blown away but left laughing at the goofiness. And the ending really isn't anything that special.

I don't know but I couldn't get past the hyper almost hyperbolic and crude objectification of women in the anime. I've tried 3 times already and can never make it to episode 3

DMC is underrated imo, the show left my timbers shivered it was amazingly well written. I've watched it so many times and still cried, this will forever be my favorite.

I hate Devilman Crybaby. I won’t watch it no matter what anyone tells me. I know what happens, and I had the exact same fears as Akira during Lockdown. After the suicide of my childhood friend and ex girlfriend, I don’t want Devilman Crybaby to traumatize me. In the isolation of the pandemic, grew a fear that I was the antichrist and if I were to go outside, I would screw up so badly the world would end.

Watched it, it was ehh . Had a friend who loved it but he also thought Berserk was homoerotic with the relationship between Guts and Griff..I thought Akira was kinda a speccial needs kid.

I made the mistake of putting this on with my friends when we were fourteen. My friends younger brother was with us and honestly I don’t think I’ve ever clicked out of an anime faster. We didn’t even finish the first episode

I would trust that devil man crybaby is the closest adaptation of history and what is to come in our fucked up world. There’s something special that the show does with that. They somehow make a show about demons and ridiculous situations fee rooted and real. Like deep down, if your old enough you see some of the shit in the show and say Fuck that’s amazing, but at the same time can’t help but be wrapped up in the knowledge that that too is how the world has represented itself. How humanities depravity and pain reaches some of the deepest and closest parts of our ‘normal’ lives. That’s why the show wraps you up in every moment, that’s why the animation regardless of how funky it can be at times slaps and that’s why when all is lost your feeling every bit of the rage, sorrow and loss that the main character goes through! Ultimately being left with nothing but contemplation. Love it when a show can truely turn and churn your emotions like this, and is a testimony to animation/ anime and the story of devil man as a whole. Keep up the amazing work luv! And yes I am binging your content from most recent to latest! That way I can see if you devolve from your current self in any way! 😂😂

NGL finding the original Devilman OVA as an edgy kid in the 90s pretty much felt like the holy grail.

i like crybaby but majority of the anime are scenes taken from all the previous devilman animes and anime movies.

It did but the story of that man Akira becoming Devilman as a whole traumatized me for a bit and just how his whole entire world or universe for that matter sucks and hates him etc.




I mean the last thing I had saw someone say about Devilman was that god in his universe must really suck bad you know 😅😅
