We know the speed of light and the distance to the sun. The rest is simple math. Now, look at a star. Using the same process you can prove that the light you are seeing came to you billions of years old. Everything easily falls into place. Geez, stop this nonsense.

Sometimes when I listen to creationists explaining their views on this subject of God created life. I am convinced that I hear them agreeing with the fact of evolution. THEY just need to reach farther back into the time scale.

DNA in cells never improves in offspring. The only way it might, would be from the other parent's DNA. That's my understanding.

Abiogenesis is a mathematical impossibility (anything beyond one in 10 to the 50th power is no longer a probability). The chances of a viable very basic protein forming by chance is estimated to be one in 10 to the 164th power. The number of atomic particles in the observable universe is 10 to the 80th power. Even if such a protein did form it is not life or anything infinitesimally close and would have been instantly destroyed by sun light (UV). So life by natural processes never even got started much less crawl out of the sea and develop arms and legs.
If everyone realised that every living thing is devolving and will go extinct due to genetic entropy, they would stop believing the lie of evolution. Evolution absolutely defies science. All we see is adaptation within kinds because the Creator built in regulatory mechanisms (eg. DNA sequences) so creatures could adapt to different environmental conditions.

What I have recently been challenged with is the argument that there is seemingly no Historic Break or evidence of the Flood occuring in the Historic Record at the proposed approximate date of the Biblical Flood....being at around 2500 BC.
My determination is that the Flood occurred at around 3000 BC and that the age of Creation is 6600 years old.

evidence 5: Modern coelacanths have significant morphological differences from fossils.

evidence 6: No evidence given for the claim. Just restated the claim several times.

Hello, great shows, I do have a question, your discussion and evidence is proof for me, but why...why I google the mitochondrial dna age, I see multiple site stations it is between 140,000 to 200,000 years, yet you are saying the mitochondrial eve is 6000 to 7000, why am I not seeing this data on my internet searches?

Religion bends the facts of reality to map onto their truth. Science takes facts for what they are and allow them to point to truth. Keep it real. Religion keeps us in the dark ages when we treat holy books as 'literal'.

It is amazing information. Over ten years ago I concluded that evolution could not be how we came about and began studying good reasons to believe in biblical creation. It did wonders for my faith.

However I was80 lbs. overweight, arthritic, in and out of a wheelchair with pain and suffering it flashes of menopause. My youngest son had done Keto and it worked for him, but Keto made me horribly sick and my pain got much worse.

I cried out to God asking what was I doing wrong and He spoke in my head, “Haven’t you ever read the first chapter of Genesis?”, which of course I had. So I got out my Bible and was blown away at verse 1:29 … which states God made us to eat plants.

It was clear to me with our dogs that if they ate what was not their food, that it could make them very sick. Then I remembered my mother had gouty arthritis and this could be I inherited this from her. In which case God had given me to key to understand how to get well, and that was to transition to plant food and to stop eating all animal foods.

I did this over 3 weeks as we eat 3 meals a day, so I replaced a plant food meal for my meat meals. I gave up all dairy and eggs also, and I could then walk without so much pain and it stated me back on the road to health.

When weather permits, or I don’t have other commitments, I now walk 5 miles a day. I started small and just increased the distance over time. I lost 80 lbs., down from 200 lbs. to a size 4 in jeans, and weighing 120.

The food is very tasty and I never leave the table not feeling satisfied.

The Bible teaches that doers of the Word are blessed, and I can tell you I have lived the blessing. Also came normal blood pressure, my cholesterol came down to and my A1C is 4.8., so no type 2 Diabetes. My mother and sister both died of breast cancer, and I have no cancers of any kind.

No one thinks I look my age, get taken as being in my 40s sometimes. I have loads of energy and my mind is intact.

People counter that God allowed the eating of animals after the flood, but what was there to eat getting off the ark?

The early church ate veg too, it is easy to understand that the Creator made all perfect and would fulfill His own teaching to be the perfect Lamb of God for us.

All this may very well be true, but how do you explain that in one day (day 5) complex animals suddenly appear on earth, but even the reproduction and growth of these animals to become "moving animals teeming in the waters" would take at least a few days by any standards?
