What shade are you wearing? My skin color is similar - but I think maybe a bit darker. I have "olive" undertones, and I usually go for "yellow" if no "olive" is available...but this looks so PINK on your swatch. Pink makes makeup look gray on my skin. I guess this one won't be fore me.

What shade did you use?

I've been really into super high-coverage foundations, lately, but not for the usual reason... I like to apply my serums and moisturise the absolute hell out of my skin, and then use a TINY bit of a super coverage cream foundation on a brush, and blend way out.

I then spot conceal dark spots, freckles, and the shadows from my eye bags (not the big V under the eyes, just a thin line blended up).

On me, it ends up looking less cakey - so much so that it doesn't really look like I'm wearing face makeup, and that's what I greatly prefer.

I've never had much luck with liquid foundations, though... There are 2 formulas I really like, and neither of them come in anything near my shade, so... Yeah. 😒

Also not a fan of matte matte foundations. I'm also in my 30s, and have pretty good skin for my age, but matte foundations make my face look like a desert. I'm also using Retin-a, so I do get the occasional dry, flaky spot, and most foundations like to grab onto those and refuse to let go. 😩 Not for me!

Thank you for the review. I think this will be a pass for me. Full coverage foundations tend to age me about 10 years. I prefer medium coverage with a satin finish. There are so many new foundations coming out it's really overwhelming.

I got so excited when I saw good for mature skin but bummed when you said it’s prolly not going to be good for dry skin. Then again, there are SO many new foundations that I still have options. Great review. Also love your eye look today. 💛💛💛

If I didn’t Mention it, the color I picked up was EF5.5 (It’s too light for me though) Someone in the comments pointed out 5.5 has pink undertones, So I checked my order and it looks like I ordered 5 not 5.5, but I was sent 5.5??? So that's the confusion with undertone.. So I will be going to see the shades in person tomorrow to see if 5 (which i ordered but didn't receive) would have worked for me (think it will be still too light).. I will update, So maybe the color wheel is not off after all!
