you’re such a legend for getting this clip is such amazing quality. been looking EVERYWHERE for this for a video i was making
ОтветитьThis is a good part of why I still feel like Episode III happened too early. Christensen and McGregor were still the correct casting decisions, but it’d still be at least another ~5 years before either of them could do acting.
Ответитьat least Anakin/Vader takes responsibility for his actions.
ОтветитьPoor anakin man you think hes all evil but really deep down he is just broken he lost his wife his friends and all because he wanted to try save his wife its quite ironic in a way he wanted to save padme but instead he killed her. Vader is not pure evil he is broken and its all because of palpatine what a fucking psycho. His tortured breathing sounds so painful.
ОтветитьDarth was never a villain, just misunderstood. He had to deal with so much much loss with no pleasures to balance it. That’s what creates “evil”. Yet it’s not real evil at all, just pain that over takes
ОтветитьWhat is this?
Ответитьlove the fact when you hear Anakin’s voice his face is blue, but when you hear Vader’s voice his face is red.
ОтветитьWhat movie is this
ОтветитьWhich movie is it
ОтветитьYou can see him get pretty emotional after Obi-Wan’s apology. Even though he hated that he left him to burn which put him in that uncomfortable suit, he still actually had some love for the man who raised him like a son.
ОтветитьPoor darth this the second time he gets a chunk of his mask sliced right off 😢
ОтветитьI feel this fight is just a repeat of what we already got in 2005 with the duel on Mustafar. Lines like “I’m sorry… I’m sorry Anakin… for ALL OF IT” and “Obi-Wan!… OBI-WAN!!” could’ve easily been edited into the Duel on Mustafar, and you’d have a more emotional edit and eliminated a duel that undermines the impact of when they reunite on the Death Star.
ОтветитьHe should have kidnapped him and attempted to turn him back
ОтветитьObi-wan!
(breath in)
OBI-WAǍ̴̜̹̏̃̎̎͝Ä̵̛̯̰́͒̂̓̓͒̚̚͠Ä̵̛̯̰́͒̂̓̓͒̚̚͠N̴̲̞̦͔͒͊́͂͐̈́͜͠!̷͓́̾̽͋!̵̫͙͍̑͝!̸̧̙̠̪̺̥̻̓̄̏̆͝͠!̵͍̲̀̑̏̑̈́͂ !!!!
You can tell that before Anakin says I will destroy you his face is blue but after it turns red that proves that Vader is constantly fighting anakin I’m most likely wrong but I see it that way plus when he takes off his helmet he is anakin when he puts it on he becomes rageful but that’s just a theory a film theory
ОтветитьAnakin was there but briefly surfaced to tell Obi Wan that he wasn't responsible for his fall to the dark side.
He then is once again consumed by anger, rage and hatred and embraces the dark side as Vader takes back control.
Obi Wan has literally written him off as irredeemable and walks away, horrified to see that Anakin has fallen so far to the dark side, becoming the Sith Lord Vader.

ОтветитьNo one can convince me that this isn't one of the hardest scenes in star wars
ОтветитьWhat movie is this from
ОтветитьA feat of acting by itself🎬
ОтветитьI love this so much
ОтветитьBest cinematography ive ever seen
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьScreaming obi wan there at the end was like a cry for help. I bet obi wan could’ve save him had he stayed there was some serious therapy that needed to happen right then and there
ОтветитьWhy it is so shaky? İt is to disracting.
ОтветитьControversial opinion: I think the damage voice is more intimidating than his regular voice
ОтветитьTerrible.
ОтветитьDoes anyone feel that Vader wanted Obi wan to put him out of his misery? I know that he took ownership of killing Anakin to free obi wan of guilt… I somehow think by the end that Vader was taunting Obi Wan in hopes that he’d kill him and save him having to keep living on with pain and regret. I know Vader could have easily let any of his other enemy’s kill him multiple times, but that wouldn’t be justified to him - it wouldn’t be a warriors death. When Obi Wan and Vader rematch in ANH, Vader probably doesn’t expect Kenobi to give up so easily but he quickly finds a new motivation live on by discovering Luke…
ОтветитьDoes he mean "I am not your FAILURE" (i.e. I'm not a failure) or "I am not YOUR failure" (i.e. You didn't fail me, I failed myself)?
ОтветитьThe issue I have with this scene, no matter how epic it is, is that it kinda makes his redemption in RoTJ less explainable. He should have at least shown a little bit of his old self here. Just a tad bit.
ОтветитьThis is the only good part of the whole series.
ОтветитьAs much as this show is straight ass I love this scene
ОтветитьTo me not only does Disney have the potential to keep Star Wars in all its glory it also exposes what Disney lacks. Script issues, choreography, line deliveries, the way scenes are filmed & edited. Cg also gets exposed as some of these shots in the conversation are shot show well and the way every line is delivered just makes the scene so much better. I also think having the original cast from the series we grew up exposed the choreography
ОтветитьSay what you want about this show. But this scene is flawless!
Ответить"And you rip it from my hands,
And you swear it's all gone.
And you rip out all I had
Just to say that you've won.
Well now you've won.
But I gave you all."
- Mumford & Sons
As much of a joke that Star Wars is now, and how much this show absolutely sucked - I really loved this scene, and it was perfectly done
Ответить"To have fallen so far and learned nothing—that is your failing." — Kreia
ОтветитьI LOVE how they mixed both Mr. Jones and Mr. Christensen's voices for this!
ОтветитьFrom what series is this ?
ОтветитьIdc I’ll say it , this tops mauls “OBIWAN!” Screech
ОтветитьThe guys did a good job in this scene with what they were given. Too bad this fight doesn’t make sense. Obi-Wan should’ve killed him there.
ОтветитьWhoever mixed Vader’s voice with Anakin’s needs a raise.
ОтветитьCrazy how Disney could make a Anakin / Obi-Wan / Vader triology and itd be their most successful movies in years. Yet they make woke crap like Acolyte.
ОтветитьDoesn't this scene ruin the canon in A New Hope when Obi-Wan and Vader fight? I liked this scene, just frustrated at lack of canon consistency
ОтветитьSay what you want about this series, it doesn’t take away from how amazing this scene is.
