Great start. I'd put zipper lined pockets into the inner shell before joining the two pieces. I'd keep the velcro attached and placed on one side only. Then fold over the top piece. This allow exact place fitting of the 2 sided.

Im going to try this. Good instructions and i only use washable purse. Great job! Thank you fogr sharing.
