由於客人鍾情八、九十年代的美式復古風格，所以設計師在物料運用方面主要選用復古木及花線為設計主調。顏色方面客人亦有自己的偏好，設計師將客人喜愛的墨綠色溶入整個設計當中，如廳櫃、廚櫃、房櫃等等少量的傢具作為整體設計的點綴，令整體設計更為豐富，打破單調感。
原本客廳到房間的走廊又長又暗，設計師將頭房拆通，改為半開放式的玻璃間隔， 令客廳的空間感變大，同時令走廊變得更為光猛明亮。至於地板方面，設計師運用了實木地板及人字鋪排法，營造出更復古的感覺。
另外， 原來廚房的規劃比較凌亂，工人廁於廚房裡面，浪費空間。所以設計師決定重新規劃廚房及工人房的格局，大大擴大了整個儲物空間。
Due to the customer's love for the American retro style of the 80s and 90s, the designer mainly used retro wood and decorative thread as the design theme in the choice of materials. Regarding color preference, the customer had a liking for dark green, and the designer incorporated it into the entire design, using it as an accent for a small amount of furniture such as cabinets in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, it making the overall design more rich and breaking the monotony.
Originally, the corridor from the living room to the bedroom was long and dark. The designer removed the front room and replaced it with a semi-open glass partition, which enlarged the living room space and made the corridor brighter. As for the flooring, the designer used solid wood flooring and herringbone pattern to create a more retro feeling.
In addition, the original layout of the kitchen was messy, with a worker's toilet inside the kitchen, which wasted space. Therefore, the designer decided to re-plan the layout of the kitchen and worker's room, greatly expanding the entire storage space.
