Celebrating 30 Years: Chapter 1 - 1992 to 1996

Join us as we celebrate 30 years of CSI - All Things Stone. We are telling the origin story of CSI to where we are today...30 years later. Here is how it all began!

The story begins with Brian Denny and predates CSI, starting back in 1974 when Brian was first introduced to a product called Cultured Stone®. Brian began working in a Cultured Stone® production facility located in Surrey, BC but quickly moved into a sales role spreading the word about Cultured Stone®, educating masons, architects, designers, and builders about manufactured stone veneer and setting the groundwork for what would later become CSI’s dealer network. The Canadian Cultured Stone® plant closed in 1984 but Brian continued selling the product in Canada and building a dealer network while establishing the creditability for manufactured stone.
