The Real Reason Valerie Bertinelli Was Fired From The Food Network

It’s simple, she was worth too much, they didn’t want to pay her salary. It’s all about money as usual.

The food network is awful now! So many repeats! And way to much Pioneer women! Plz bring in variety and include Valerie!

The Food Network was something when it first started, now it’s a shitty station to watch cooking competitions. What happened to cooking shows?

Valerie Bertanelli has always been a favorite of mine and always will be. Her absence from Food Network is THEIR loss. How foolish of FN. As a result of driving VB off, I don't watch any of their programs anymore.

It isn’t the first time Food Network screwed up and seeing their history, won’t be the last. It was a great show that had great food and Valerie was fantastic in the role. She was real and her stories were cool too❤

I don’t even need to listen to this to know that she aged out. I’m the same age as her. We are senior citizens and no matter how great we might be, we don’t get credit for anything. Youth is wasted on the young. 😉🤦🏼‍♀️

i wondered!! Valerie is amazing!! I think was political. She was amazing. Yet some others who are horrible and have no talent are still on the show.. Demaris has never had a good show and is so irritating yet is ALWAYS there. She must have connections with someone. Politics suck.

I absolutely loved her on ‘Touched by an Angel”, and I loved her on the FN… I stopped watching because it’s only competition shows now.

It was nice to have a home cook showing her cooking talent.

Maybe everyone was tired of her unending whining and pity partys...I rarely watched her show because I couldn't stand her self centered whining. Food network has gone downhill anyway. I quit watching a few years ago. It's just the same few people in multiple shows. I can't stand most of them.

I used to like her, but whining about this was really childish. It seems she whines a lot lately.

I used to like Valerie; I’m the same age and grew up watching her. I remember hearing of the “issues” she had while married to Eddie. For me, she has become somewhat thirsty for attention and a bit of a self proclaimed victim. From my perspective, she has a pretty good life and should embrace what she has which is far more than most of us.
