🥵 What is the toughest ride you've ever done?
ОтветитьLoved the vibe, that's what cycling is all about!
ОтветитьTruth bomb coming in
If non pro women are on the ride (which there was) it is no where near the fastest ride in AZ let alone the US
And a 60+ year old guy come on really. Click bait
FACTS
You guys are exactly why i dont associate with cyclists. Im sorry the Tour didnt let you ride🎉😂
ОтветитьVery fun to see friends in this video. I don’t do this ride cause I’m not fast enough and don’t have a road bike, but the route is a classic for anyone here.
ОтветитьThis video has given me more spiritual power to push even harder on the local evening group ride.
😂Zwift on real life.
competitive group rides make for some of the best content
Ответитьcome on down and ride the boxing day Papas and you'll know what hard is.
ОтветитьOllie to the camera: "Jesus" ..."Kill me now" HILARIOUS
ОтветитьIf you like training at altitude, visit Northern Arizona in the spring and summer. Cool temps, highest point in AZ is the local ski area.
ОтветитьFucking loved the legend reference hank 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьTo be fair I recon Hank is their best rider from the GCN presenters and has the strongest head for the bike
ОтветитьGo to Perth in WA and ride the Glen Parker ride… 😂
ОтветитьCan you also get Hank to shave that slug of of his top lip that’s even less cool.
ОтветитьAnd why does Hank wear a hat all the time with his peak up, it’s not cool.
ОтветитьHanks not really funny.
ОтветитьThank you GCN for all the original content and great cast, I am fully addicted to your channel !
ОтветитьThe gear these rec riders are on must be enough to fill a pharmacy, lol
ОтветитьGCN joins r/BicyclingCircleJerk group ride
ОтветитьServal riders are wearing blue and white jerseys with AZ in a chainring on the back - any idea which club this is?
ОтветитьNow come to Atlanta and do the Sunday Airport ride 😅
ОтветитьTheir bikes were "mysteriously" not there in time. So you didn't ride the world's toughest group ride, you rode the B option. Half as long and several hundred meters less climbing. Perhaps change the title of the video.
ОтветитьI need to see some proof that you bikes weren’t there for the longer ride 😏
ОтветитьTheyll all get drop like flies if a pro velomobile rider joins the ride.
ОтветитьEnjoying zone 2 ish on the indoor trainer whilst recovering from collarbone fracture!
ОтветитьSee, these tea boys are always bashing us American dudes and now we handled them their rear ends pretty good. Welcome to Tucson boys!
Ответитьyeah .. that's not THE shootout .. at least not the one I've been doing since the 80's. The Saturday shootout can be hundreds of riders and has now broken out into two groups that leave independentlly .. a fast group and a faster than hell group. It is a very flat route and very fast that used to have a turn around point around Helmet Peak road if I recall. I've ridden all the other road they showed in the video, however. It is a beautiful town and an amazing place to be a cyclist.
ОтветитьYou're to tell us that there's nowhere you couldn't have spared a couple bikes from in the mecca of cycling in the US? Or that a channel with 3.2M subs could afford to source a couple rigs for Ollie and Hank?? Maybe send the whole crew over to try The Shootout
ОтветитьMany years ago, on my Trek 1000 with down-tube shifters, I used to tag onto the main when they left after "the old man" if I got dropped. Making it back to town with those monsters was always the most accomplishing feeling. I still remember grinding away and someone yelling at me "stop swaying, pedal with purpose" and that shit stuck.
Ответитьman, I wish I had Hank’s calves…
ОтветитьThis Tucson content is solid.
ОтветитьThose pastries look like absolute trash. The road and scenery though, really look real life zwift, it's uncanny!
ОтветитьYou guys need to join the Papa's Boxing Day ride in Perth Australia - fastest loop in Australia 🇦🇺
ОтветитьThanks for showcasing the beauty of Tucson's cycling community! Presta coffee is fantastic, but I'd correct you and say those donuts were from La Estrella Bakery.
ОтветитьHow much headwind? 30 mph flat over 40 miles with no wind or a solid tail wind combine with downhill yes , but cycling 30 mph with constant 10-15 mph headwind over 30 miles? Is this seriously possible even for pros?
ОтветитьHow is that a group ride? So, you have to be peak fitness at all times to ride? HUH? Sounds like fred central.
ОтветитьI was in Tucson, AZ for a couple of months. Then I moved to upstate NY. I never thought I'd miss it until I watched this. 😭
Ответитьbut why there is so few american professional roadcyclist and so few american top roadcyclist, no american world champ either, maybe this is not the hardest group ride, maybe its somewhere in latin america?
ОтветитьGCN try "Dolska runda" in Slovenia. Don't be suprised if you see Bole, Roglič, Pogačar, Mezgec, Tratnik, Mohorič or any other elite cyclist.
ОтветитьToo bad didn't do the Saturday one
ОтветитьLove it.
ОтветитьAs an AZ native I am absolutely excited to see you guys have a blast visiting our neck of the woods
ОтветитьFor my money the Tuesday Shootout is a LOT harder than the Saturday one anyway, because it's got some decent little hills in it, whereas the Saturday one is just a huge group storming down an almost level road. If you know pack tactics and you can sprint at the end, you can win the Saturday Shootout and still not be in tip top shape, IMHO.
ОтветитьDoable.... no age limits.... its your legs your bike and physique....add experience ❤ and most cyclists are always friendly people... nice
ОтветитьHank 😂🤣😂🤣
ОтветитьIts great to see the boys on this side of the pond!!! Been a fan for years and will be for years to come
ОтветитьHank did nail that.
ОтветитьGreat vid., Welcome to the USA. Come back,, we have lots more opportunities to race and film 🎥😉
ОтветитьAs you’ve said it’s a race. In that case no it’s not the toughest group ride. That would be the TdF
Ответить“Dropped in the first 20 seconds”. Someone doesn’t understand the idea of a group ride
Ответить
