Thanks for this video Alec. I have a real issue eliminating hands and can play solid for hours, but then will make a really dumb mistake when my 'read' is wrong. Moreover, that read being wrong is, in fact, me losing concentration and not implementing this the type of thinking you outline here. Truly excellent. Thanks again.

This is great. You're teaching waaay more than two things. 1.) The funnel. 2.) The awareness. 3.) The variety of awarenesses there are to work on. 3.) Etc. Etc.
But here's the big thing I want to know right now: How do you know what "top 10% of hands" looks like? F'rinstance, how do I know whether a pair or 8s is tighter or looser than gapped-suited royals? I know one guy would bet 8's and I've seen the other guy bet suited J-A. Which guy is looser?

I watched your funnel video the same day I had a friendly, family home game. Played extremely solid until I got sucked out on All-in with AA vs KK, my uncle hit the K on the river. 😁
