what drives me insane is that i have no idea in what order they are. Atomic number? no. Group? no? Alphabetical? no. Order of discovery? I doubt it.

Then i start to accept that the order only serves the sound and rythm but THEN comes the verse that's suddenly full of noble gases and i have no choice but to listen from the start

does anybody know what's going on here?

This is great, particularly if you want to learn the elements, but... if you're gonna learn a tricky and fun song to this tune, I'd really say you're better of just going with Modern Major General.

2011 I was in 8th grade and u either had to take a test where u completely recognized the periodic table and had to write It all down ... or memorize this song and perform it in front of the class. Was the only one that did it 🤣🤣🤣 figured recognizing lyrics songs was easier than remembering the name of every element . The abbreviations and the atomic number etc

I love this song it’s so catchy I heard this in school for the first time and I can’t stop listing to it even if it’s not all of the elements bc sense this was made in the 1950’s
