Huge thanks again to Pete. I hope you all learnt something. Comment below what it was…
Hello Andy a pleasure to watch your videos. Please could u load some video on the position of the right elbow in the back swing
ОтветитьAwesome video and instruction from you both...what were those crows after in your cart?....lol
ОтветитьFrom Argentina mr Pete and Andy very helpful drills and basic movements that one needs to follow and stick to them and not mess with yo much thinking many thanks ☘️Owen
ОтветитьI'm sorry and don't want to sound rude or anything, but I just didn't feel like I got anything out of this. Maybe the way Pete communicates because I think Andy did a good job of trying to lead him, but it just didn't work. I don't feel like there was a good takeaway from watching this particular video that's going to help me be a better ball striker.
ОтветитьWhat should be at 45*? The arm angle? What does he mean by that?
ОтветитьIt’s very exciting how Pete trying to explain it. Been looking at his explanations in several videos and what he was trying to teach is to use more on natural move rather then how we need to orchestrate it. Looking forward to apply his philosophy in later day. It has been almost 10 years the last time I played 😂
ОтветитьBest coaches keep it simple all these top famous ones are way above most golfers.
ОтветитьThanks Andy for the free lesson.....
ОтветитьAndy, best Pete Cowan “interview” I’ve seen! Top content thank you 🙏🏽
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you. I’ve been getting out every day for almost a year and I’m encouraged by this video because I think I’m doing a lot of things right. I’m getting very consistent with my 9 iron, and am getting there with my 7. Seems the longer the club, the more trouble I have. Anyway, thanks for putting this together and sharing it.
Ответитьmany thanks, like the wet towel analogy.
ОтветитьMethinks he is truly knowledgeable and a coach par excellence but is like a doctor with a bad bedside manner (?).
ОтветитьAnother guru who says a great deal without saying anything. Theses guys are a dime a dozen and the sidekick here builds him up like a Hogan cousin. Really is bothering when the guru never hits a ball showing us all what “art” looks like.
ОтветитьThat was absolutely awesome, thanks for dropping this video!
ОтветитьGreat Advice drill tips to share
Ответитьgreat interview Andy , thanks, for the video.
Ответитьsounds very much like you have been having a lesson off terry westbrook, over in south africa. but, the wall ball drill cannot be correct. obviously, this is a variation on the drinks tray drill, which is not correct. when the palm faces the target, at address, the right elbow points more in towards the body than it does when taking the grip with both hands. so, really, it is incorrect to face the palm towards the target when swinging with just the right arm. and, the focus should on stretching and flexing the arm as far behind you as you can. this activates the muscles in the left side of the forearm. this then enables us to swing thru by fully activating the muscles in the left side of the forearm. the cack handed drill looks horrendous; but, i like pete's 45 degree. there is one thing missing, though. and, this is why his club is laid off. force needs to both push and pull on the left shoulder in the backswing. bobby jones has to e the best example of this. and, of course, he gives himself time, in the backswing, to do this.
ОтветитьIt think he is focused on right wrist and forearm motion. I believe it is a combination of right wrist extension ,which is also called Volar extension ( need to google it , with images )( see George Gankas g snap gadget ) , forearm pronation and release of wrist cock ( which is called radial deviation ), so it’s called ulnar deviation. All right side because it would be opposite for left side.
ОтветитьThank you Andy for the great video, I watched it 3 times already, guess will be watching more for the future.😊😊 the drills are really important, and more importantly is to build-into your body!
ОтветитьGreat video Andy thanks
ОтветитьI would not ever want a lesson from Pete I’d end up slapping him
ОтветитьThe towel wringing drill...ill be trying that tomorrow
ОтветитьThanks Andy and Pete. Lots to think about there. I hope it will help me in my swing journey.
Andy!! Giz a job!!!! Please
Awesome Andy
ОтветитьThank you Andy for bringing Pete on. Golden information and many drills to work on in a slower
speed. Your swing looks good Andy and everyone can tell you know your swing.
'shaft pressure and club face pressure' at impact, that's the holy grail. I think the rest is the same biomechanical action as taking an axe to a tree - on a steeper plane. The feet together drill is one of the best drills in golf, gets you swinging the club, instead of hitting the ball. My coach, the same guy who taught Grant Waite, Craig Perks - also, taught them that drill first. Good video, thanks.
ОтветитьCould listen to pete for hours
ОтветитьAndy, next time be quiet when Pete is talking. You are talking to one of the greatest golf minds that ever lived! Listen to him intently and completely. You should feel honored and very privileged to speak to him. Let him talk 99% of the time. Every thing he says is 100% correct and important. I want to hear what he says, not what you say. Understand? Thx.
ОтветитьThe sage old advice of hitting balls with feet together is a great way for the body to learn how yo move and Harvey Penicks slow motion drill is also great if you do it exactly as he prescribed.
ОтветитьPete is the best at giving you a pinch of info and leaving you there. Guess you would have to take twenty lessons from him to get it clear.😂
Ответитьhow does the wrist on the left arm go from sublimation to pronation in the swing?
Ответить👍
Ответитьdefinitely world's #1 most overrated golf coach
ОтветитьJesus, it sounds to me like he's overcomplicating everything. He really doesn't put enough emphasis on rotation like that's literally everything in the golf swing
ОтветитьPete could bore for Britain.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьLove Pete but it's actually Ground Reaction Forces
Ответитьi remember the first time i hit a golf ball,,,,,its been a
learning curve ever since ,that first awakening shock
into the reality of refinement of alignment principle!
in sync with seconds of arc ,pete knows how and why
these things can elude us all, bless him.👍😇

Great video - these core concepts rather than tinkering around the edges really help me 👍⛳️
ОтветитьIf he knows how to do it, why is he not on tour?
ОтветитьLots of trail arm chat, is that the most important arm action?
Ответить
