I have recently started delving into the Warhammer lore and I am overwhelmed by the astoundingly massive data and stories as well as games on offer.

I’ve bought most of the games on sale (Mechanicus, Gladius, Total War: Warhammers 1,2,3; Battle Sector, Gothic Armada 2, Space Marine, etc.

Man my brain’s fried now.

I sometimes wonder if the entire reason humanity, even in its weakened state, run the pre-eminent organization of the galaxy is because of their tenacity. None of the other races seem to share humanity's "if I can't have it, no one will have it" attitude towards things. Orks like to fight, but they need opponents for that. The Tyranids need biomass to continue. The T'au need converts from worlds. Even the Necron seem to find humanity best left relatively alone because the humans will fight over planets until there is nothing left to be worth winning, even to the point that they literally exterminate everything on a planet (including themselves) all so they don't 'lose.' Chaos even probably doesn't want a lot of Cadias out there, because the masses of humanity fuel them and the Imperium seems perfectly fine with destroying the fuel to spite Chaos.

At some point, the xenos probably start performing calculations that generally mean "leave the humans alone unless you are absolutely sure you can win something worth winning." And I sometimes wonder if Chaos's entire approach is actually built to not only continue the strife, but continue it in a sustainable way. After all, if Chaos just sat back and drank the evil emanating from humanity, eventually humanity would turn inward and sterilize the galaxy. Better to keep them focused just enough on the outside to keep them a viable source.

Playing with humanity for everyone must be like playing with fire...

I've always said A-bad-on too but I suppose ABBA-Don rolls off the tongue easier.... that conjuring images of the Mourneval as a bunch of disco diva's is up to the reader to discern.... for me :) they're hard, they're not easy or disco Queens and they won't roll off anything except your dead corpse - so Abadon seems acceptable :D

Nova cannon seems silly if the projectile is moving at relativistic speeds then the warhead is surplus to requirements similar to the nazi v2 rocket the explosion from the warhead was smaller the the one caused by a multi ton object hitting a target faster than the speed of sound
