United plane loses tire during takeoff at LAX, lands safely in Denver

A United Airlines flight lost a tire during takeoff from Los Angeles International airport. The Boeing 757 with 181 passengers and crew on board continued to its destination safely but the incident follows the FAA’s recent scrutiny of United’s maintenance operations.
