What always helped me study when going to Uni is taking quick notes within the classes. Of course I’d try to make sense of them and put it down somehow organized, but not caring too much about the look. The real first time studying them is transferring the notes over to a notebook that I’d try to make more aesthetic. I’d used to look into the notes I put in my notepads, on the script and textbook if those existed. That helped me keep track of what we already did throughout the module/class and would come in handy when I wrote them again one last time for studying for the final exam. That always worked well for me!!

actually stickers, pictures, and highlighter colors are very useful. Your mind connects the stickers, the photos, and the colors with the subject and the information.

How can we decorate our notes if your school doesn't allow colored pens or any decorative stickers etc. My school only allows blue pens. If I have any colored pens or etc stuff they detect marks from our final report.

Advice for efficient study:
-Only take notes on important re-occurring matters and try to listen to the teacher talking and comprehend, rather than writing stuff down.
-Ask questions.
-2 highlighters are enough, me personally, I use 0
-If your teacher does not allow pen, use a black colored pencil.
-Be smart

for me, its kinda hard to remember everything but its usefull to get high scores to exams

How I take pretty notes is I use different colors for each sentence using Papermate Felt Tip Pens. My teacher did this and then I eventually invested in Papermate Felt Tip Pens. I LOVE THEM THEY DO NOT BLEED!!

for aussies ~ buy a pack of brush highlighter pens from kmart for $4 and a muji black pen. it looks gorgeous if u put the right effort into it!

If you scribble down your notes, and you find it more difficult to revise without more visually engaging notes- you can always have a notebook for quick notes and then copy out anything you missed, and dont write anything you dont need on the notes onto a different notebook <3

I ACTUALLY TRY TO TAKE AESTHETIC NOTES, BUT MY TEACHER LITTERALLY SAYS I CANNOT USE VIBRANT PENS OR ANYTHING EXEPT THE BLACK BALLPOINT PEN. PLUS I AM A HEAVY HANDED WRITER LIKE WHEN I WAS IN 6TH GRADE I WAS DOING AN EXAM AND THE PAPER RIPPED 😅.

I actually prefer to make notes in pencil because I only have one black pen, which I use for the "bolded" words.

my grade 3 teacher forced us to write in cursive, and every since my hand writing has been a mess

we do not learn cursive anymore, i learned it once in 3rd grade for only a week and then we never had to use it again. i am in highschool now and don't know any cursive because teachers will take points off if you use it
