Which strumming pattern is being played
ОтветитьThanks. Do you want to tell me how to go from D to G please?
ОтветитьI was studying a flatpicking book which taught some walk-ups and walk-downs but they didn't explain how the transitional notes where chosen. You clarified it, thanks!
ОтветитьThis video was therapeutic. 99% of instructional guitar videos are littered with people more concerned about selling their classes than actually teaching you something wholesome enough to expand with. This guy gives off major genuineness vibes
ОтветитьWhat is going on there im not understanding what theory is going on there? What is base chord how are they connecting.
ОтветитьHow come it is supposed to be just playing two bass notes between chord changes, when in some instances it seems like he is playing more than 2 bass notes between chord changes? It's a bit confusing to me.
Ответитьthanks for the video lesson! sounds like incorporating something like a walking bass line to link chords together :)
ОтветитьFor people looking for such songs - Sweet Virginia by The Rolling Stones.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHi Justin , the way you play the open A chord is a good idea
ОтветитьVery nice video! I've been practicing this and am doing well with it. But what is the next small step to make the chords sound a little richer. I don't see any roadmap for improvement.
ОтветитьThanks Justin, I’ll have to practice these. Great explanation and I realise it puts all my scales practice into perspective and to good use 😆
ОтветитьLightbulb! 💡
ОтветитьAnother beaut lesson Justin, I haven’t done any work on this in ages. Fun simple enough pieces of info, & examples… challenges for some to reach for & achieve, reminders & exercises for others. Point is, new, seasoned, or developing further, there’s something for every level here.
Nice one.
Tim from Brisbane🇦🇺🎸🎼👍🥳
Hi.justin..a very interesting guitar class, which I need the most...adding bass notes...super cool..
ОтветитьYou my sir, are an awesome teacher.
ОтветитьSo the 'trick' basically consists of finding 2 notes that are shared by, say, C and G major scales?
ОтветитьHappy New Year Justin Thanks for everything 🎸 power of the five!
ОтветитьWhat's amazing to me about learning any type of music is that after 20+ years of study it's possible to have holes in the basic rudiments. While I've always been aware of this particular idea I never really "got it". But Justin, you made it so clear and easy to incorporate.
Ответить👏👏👏👌👌👌👍✌️🌹
ОтветитьHi i saw your very interesting video on " nut adjustment " great video , can you please tell me if nut groves wear down over time & what people do if this happens .... Thanks .
ОтветитьIs this the same or similar to Carter picking?
ОтветитьLove this! Simple and effective.
ОтветитьCan you teach I'm one the Who Pete Townshend please
ОтветитьGreat lesson you 0 make it all look so easy which that was one of the simplest lessons it was awesome thank you so much for sharing keep rocking my friend
ОтветитьUgh thanks so much for this lesson! Great simple explanation. Merci Justin
Ответить"Sometimes you gonna go 'Wow, that was amazing!', other times you go 'Meeh'. And when you go 'Meeh' you just dont do it again. And when you go 'Oh that was amazing' maybe make a note of it somewhere". Sounds like a great life advice as well. I mean, if this guitar thing wont work out for you, might wanna switch to life coaching, just sayin' :P
Thanks for the video, love recent uploads <3
In Wild World, Cat Stevens took it a step further descending entire C scale to G.
ОтветитьHi Justin. Please will you tell me which guitar you are using. Happy new year.
ОтветитьSo good technics..thank you for sharing 👌
ОтветитьThank you! Really enjoyed this lesson!
Ответить👍🏻 I’ve always learn a thing or two from your videos all these years 🖖
ОтветитьIsn’t this what Clapton does in “Wonderful Tonight” after the second line (…”she brushes her long blond hair”)
ОтветитьJustin, you are awesome. You're a naturally outstanding teacher and your manner and playing is wonderful. Thanks so much for all the years of showing us how it's done!
ОтветитьWhat guitar are you using Justin ? It’s beautiful 😍
ОтветитьFantastic !🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьWow...u made it so easy bro...thank u
Ответитьcan you do a video lesson for the song freakish by saves the day?
ОтветитьGood ol'fashioned Chet Atkins style. 😎
ОтветитьMy family is full of guitar players and they're all very good at it, but they never really get to teaching me this wonderful string instrument. You are that family member I never had. Thank you
ОтветитьThis is how I grew up playing gitty. I learned 'em by ear and many years. Heck I actually never thought much about what notes they are, just learned to hit 'em. It's great going back and learning it proper. This will be fun.
ОтветитьThis such a great technique to make playing have more movement.
ОтветитьGreat lesson 👏👏👏
ОтветитьAmazon lesson! 👌🏻
ОтветитьGreat little lesson Justin. Happy new year mate & cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 !
