Built with stainless steel, they couldn't dent it with their kicks. Unique car. Interior is beautiful, touch screen to open the bonnet. It's a nice car.

It looks like the idea of a futuristic car from a low-budget 1970s science-fiction TV series like "Logan's Run".

This car lacks one big thing.. and that is an atmospheric V8 or V10... Jeeez what a crap car is this. It's like going back to history. The energy density of petrol is much and much higher than electric. The engineers figured that out already in the 1920's Like they want us to go back to the beginning of developing cars..

So, if I want to change the rear view mirror settings while driving, I have to go to touchscreen and press all buttons while keeping eyes on the road!!! Now, some ppl will say why u change settings while driving, but sometimes u gotta do it.

This car has bugs, the NCAP crashtest for it was ... I really don't want to say it, but it wasn't that good ... All in all, very overpriced to get from A to B. I rather would take an Opel Corsa over it ... 4 Real now

decades of engineering went into making vehicles safer for pedestrians in case of an impact... and Musk was like: nah, I wanna behead people.

this car is so unsafe for pedestrians or other vehicle operators, crazy how Americans don't see the obvious.

It wouldn't fit into any city parking spaces in most of Europe; it would be a parking fines magnet 😆

Oh dear, Mat did seem somewhat reticent to criticize this thing. Indeed, far more reticent than I have seem him in his reviews of any other vehicle he has not been flown to Texas to review. It couldn't be that he is afraid, is it ? Or that someone in the carwow ecosystem has been provided some financial incentive to refrain from criticism, could it ?

I dislike the design and the stainless steel body. I wish they had gone with a more traditional tesla inspired truck body. I think it would have been received far better by non Muskrats.
Otherwise the functionality seems quite impressive and progressive. I give it a 6 out of 10 because I dislike the design so much.

Do you know why all consumer products have round edges? Look at those 2 rear sharp corners and think a bit. Nasty stuff can happen. Stylistically, I like this thing but it is not safe. If those 4 sharp corners up front and at the rear would be round off, It would just better and safer.

not a fan. i rate it about a 3 or a 4. there's simply far too much about all tesla's that i do not like
1} the ipad thingy is basically your entire connection to the vehicle. touch-screens have their limitations and drawbacks where actual physical buttons do not.
2) so many utterly unnecessary gimmicks like the electrically controlled recessed door handles (those won't be cheap to fix when they break) or the electrically controlled charge door (why? why? why?)
i will never consider an ev.

All my opinions on Tesla aside, this looks like a very dangerous vehicle in the wrong hands. A careless driver or someone with road rage. Not sure how they allowed the truck to be built with such materials.

Toyota Hillux is better
