Hi i've just installed and done everything as stated in the video but I realized that it's taking quite a long time on the "installing kernal" part, is this normal? do i just have to wait it out or is something wrong?

Current, i has Dell server run Os Ubuntu 22.04.
in the future, I will setup one more server run Os Ubuntu 22.04 to run in parallel, for the purpose of redundancy and backup. If the first dies server, there is still second replace.
but, I don't know the steps how to configure, set up and synchronize data for the two servers.
May can you and everyone help me.

I wish it was this easy now. For me, it wont let me create an EXT2 or FAT32 partition to install GRUB. So now I have to install desktop and do all this manually, as GRUB only supports EXT2

so i skipped connecting to the internet when installing bc i couldnt figure it out until i rewatched this. However I cant go back to that screen so how do i connect my server to the internet now? anytime i seach it up online i just get generic router reconnection stuff

Very good instructions. Good work. One important thing you forgot to mention. When you are setting up a local server, please contact your ISP. You must make certain you are not violating your contract agreement with them. Internet service providers varied from region to region. They had various rules and regulations we must follow and comply. It is better to be safe then sorry.

Thanks for the video. It's weird that the installer leaves half of the disk free by default. Specially if you are using LVM, there is not reason for it.

I've overlooked LVM free space in dozens of ubuntu server deployments. Thanks for taking time to explain that.

Hey Im trying to get ubuntu server onto my dell t410 tower server and when I try to boot ubuntu from my flash drive, my device flashes the input type and nothing else. normal boot screen works just fine, any help would be appreciated (im forced to use VGA so i hope thats not the problem)
