On her tenth birthday, Tola visits the mainland for the first time and also receives a surprise birthday gift from her father, Tunde.

From his high-tech hideout, the villain Bode keeps an eye on Tola as his next kidnapping victim and mysteriously seeks out Tola's friend Kole. Meanwhile, Tola and Kole learn more about each other's lives and perspectives.

Against her father's wishes, Tola goes to the mainland and has the best day ever with her best friend Kole. Otin, a pet lizard robot given to her by her father, keeps a close eye on her but faces challenges. Bode takes advantage of Kole's ailing mother to force her to make a terrible choice between family and her friend.

Tola's father Tunde, the wealthy CTO of a company that creates technology to protect children from kidnapping, desperately tries to protect his daughter from the scheming Bode as he places bets on the future. Tola tries to take stock of her surroundings and make important observations while Kole, pursued by Bode's henchmen, is rescued by Tola's pet lizard robot, Otin.

Kole learns the truth about Tola's pet lizard, Otin, a robot built by her father Tunde to protect Tola. Meanwhile, Kole and Tunde team up to find and rescue Tola before Otin locates Tola and takes them to Bode's hideout. While Otin deals with a power problem, Tola's two rescuers are taken captive by Bode and his men.

Bode makes new demands and takes Tunde and Tola back to his home on the island to hack Tunde's company's database. Together with Kole, an overexcited Otin, and some unexpected heroes, Tola comes up with a brilliant plan to save the day. With Bode arrested, Tunde and Tola agree to do better moving forward.
