Why do you need an expansion gap with vinal? I didnt think you needed one with vinal flooring as its unaffected by humidity/moisture

You should invest in Zambia am one of the first installers vinyl, laminate and glue down floor

What about the place on the other end of the room where you will enter a hallway or doorway. How do you know if you will have a full wide board in the doorway to continue boards without a transition strip???

So, when do remove the scraps? And doesn't that leave a gap with the tounge on the wrong side? I liie the idea, but i think the most crucial part is what to do about the gap created.

Excellent tips. I’ve installed laminate and vinyl plank a few times and need to do it again soon. This will certainly help to keep that floor from sliding around and keep the space between the wall and the flooring consistent. Thank you and God bless!
