having a t150 and a g29, the logitech is a far better and more competitive option. Its the best budget setup you can get. I got mine for $150 for the wheel, shifter, and the pedals. Opposed to thrustmaster’s shifter only costing a $150….amazing wheel for the price, don’t get scared away by the retards.😊

Just bought the G29 secondhand fairly cheap, I was expecting to feel let down as I read it doesn't have "true force" like the G923 but honestly, I crashed in BeamNG and it shook my desk like crazy, feels real enough.

How noisy is it? Not the paddles, the mechanism itself.

Only petal for the price with a clutch and H-pattern. I loved mine.

G25/27/29 is a decent for a casual gamer/beginner, you don't necessarily start with a direct drive wheel

Sad that so many people here experienced so much elitism in the sim racing community. I use a Thrustmaster TMX and have never had anything negative to say about it, nor has anyone else said anything negative about the fact that I own a beginner wheel. Sim racers like to point out all the faults in a product, but that also applies to high end stuff (sometimes even more so)

I got a G20 for free because the cable was frayed and it was too going to be tossed out. Thankfully I know how to solder so it was an easy fix.

The only thing I hate about it is that it’s a PC/Xbox wheel and I can’t connect to a PS5 for GT7.

I had my G920 for almost 3years now without any issues. I installed new wheel (i guess its little lighter than og wheel?) for rallying and i cant keep force feedback settings even close to max because it wouldnt make any sense. I dont get it when people say it has weak force feedback.. im using stronger ff settings than what my irl volvo has and would expect people to want get as close to reality as possible, this thing can do it and even more🤌🏻

Next upgrade would be a t300rs from thrustmaster but the g920 is pretty solid for it’s price.

Plenty of world champion sim racers have won on the g27 which is the same wheel.
The problem with the wheel is 10 years ago it was cutting edge but logite ch never changed it or even tryed to improve the design. Other brands took over with real innovation. Sad really I love my G29

I use a crappy Mario Cart wheel and I still win many local competitions so don't hate on him

My DFP pedals messed up, I got a brand new G920 on sale for $200. Not everybody wants to or can afford to have a direct drive wheel lol. Some of us just play it for fun as a hobby and don't take it that serious.

I think the problem lies in the people that spend thousands on their rigs just to get beat by some dude with a worn out 8 year old wheel. They think modern equipment is the only way, in a sense I think it's so they feel validated in spending so much on their rigs.

idk,i would recommend a tmx tbh,cheaper,quieter and is abit better because its a hybrid

I had this wheel before and its more than enough to have fun with its good for the money

I got the g923 and it's actually a much better upgrade from my shitty wheel I had that had no force feedback

I started with a Momo Racing Force and drove in many leagues with my trusty old G27 that started to make horrible noises but is still in use by a friend of mine after about 12 years. Haven't heard of many Fanatec products lasting that long sadly...

The amount of gatekeeping in Racing Sim is insane lmao. Not everyone needs top-of-the-line, just like how some people are happy with the Apple watch 3/se as it fits their needs while some people swear by the Ultra.

The issue I have with this wheel is that it's a downgraded version of the G27. It's a good wheel, but get a used G27 or G25 instead for a fraction of the price... 😅

It's just not worth the price they're asking. It's a $150 wheel at most.

I have a G29, and have had it for a few years. It not a bad wheel, don't get me wrong. Its just that DD wheels have gotten so much cheaper and accessible the last 2 years, its insane. For a little extra money, you can get an 8nm DD base, wheel and pedals. It wasn't that long ago when just a belt driven CSW 2.5 base alone was nearly twice the price of the G29. Its crazy how many options we have today.

i have a g920 and the cable that connects my pedals to my wheel is almost shot after under a year of owning it. takes a lot of wiggling to make it stop giving random pedal inputs
